Turians are Avians and normaly Avians havnt got boobies.. Least not on earth... My female birds and parrots sure hasn't got any boobies!

Though... Since turians arn't technically related to our avians as far as I know it might not be true... But yeash... Featherless birds... That's what Turians seems to be... More like a cross between humanoid, dinosaur, avian/bird.... Things...

Thorax and Sternum

Overlying flaps projecting off the ribs called uncinate processes help to stiffen the rib cage so it will not collapse during the powerful strokes required for flight. Now extend that conceptually on a humanoid form, and you're going to have to widen the xiphoid process to have the pronounced chest plate-like sternum that turians have. Pull that down to a more demure, feminine form, put her in robes even the curvaceous Kasumi might find somewhat constricting and view it through the eyes of beings used to seeing "funny bumps" at that point of a feminine body and you have a boatload of drama llamaz.

Chi_Mangetsu, I want you to look me in the eye and tell me that the design team was thinking of anything as profound as xiphoid processes, especially after these unfortunate remarks (@ about 1:10).

The question some are trying to answer is a 'can'- 'can turians have breasts or breast-like shapes?'. Clearly, they can. They're a designed species, so they can be or have anything. The females could have extra fingers, antennas, or hanaresque bioluminescence if the designers felt like making them that way. The other question I'm more interested in is a 'should' - 'What choices did the design team make? Why did they make them? Were they appropriate choices?'

Call me a cynic, Chi, for being skeptical that they thought things through as much and in the way that as you did.

I love her! Good job Bioware folks. So happy to have a femTurian. It also makes me happy that they didn't change what they looked like in the comics. I hope she's a permanent squad mate after we finish Omega.

I know it's been said before, but if she is Garrus's flexible lady friend, I am hoping for awkward times between them and any femSheps out there who have him as LI.

Aww sad. But thank you for the information! It's still nice that they listened to the fans on this. 

As for the boob thing, glad that's been finally solved, lol.  

According to Facebook, she's the leader of the Talon merc group on Omega. Should be interesting.

That just makes me more curious about Turian reproductive and birthing cycles though. They clearly don't suckle their young after all now. Does that mean their like boas after all?
