I would love to see dwarves in metal Golem suits without being sacrificed. The suits should fit them like they sort of stepped into a mech suit to control the Golem. The Golem could have various metallic looks plus add Ons.

If it is a suit, its not a Golem. And how would they even control it?

Golems are not mechsuits. Dwarf is not a technologically advanced race, nor is thedas a setting that allows such technology crossover.

you are not familar with mech suits I see. A suit similar to what Iron Man wears. If you followed the Dragon Age series, the metal Golems leaves room(idea) for them to be controlled from the inside by a dwarf. Some of the metal Golems can be controlled by control rods so why push away the idea a blacksmith could build a suit for a dwarf.

I know what a mech suit is, and it's not a golem, it goes agaisnt the definitions of Golems. And i also dont make any sense at all in the DA setting.

Did you read the Codex on golem creation? The dwarves don't survive the process of golem creation; the person placed inside each suit of armour is MELTED with molten lyrium. Their soul bonds to the metal itself and magic gives golems the power to move.

So, the metal golems isn't technologically advanced even though they have control rods? Many of the things in the Dragon Age fantasy would is questionable, but done right it looks like it belongs or could work.

The relationship between a control rod and a golem is a magical one, not technological. The same goes with the nature of golems in Thedas. Go read some codex before giving "advice" that is obviously nothing but your personal desire, ok?

I know the whole Golem story. I'm talking about a blacksmith making a suit similar to a golem without the bad effects. Dragon Age universe or world have many things you can say doesn't fit, you can't say realistically because it's a fantasy game.

That MIGHT happen a few hundred years after the current timeline, since that requires no small degree of technological breakthrough.

I'm not here to debate. It's my idea like, love or hate it I don't care. I just put it out there and I can see it working without compromising the story. I also read all the codex and played all the Dragon Ages and used all the DLC. So, what you are saying isn't something I didn't read.

Many of us are putting out ideas, wishes and giving feedback.

I do not know if what you put inside your signature is serious or sarcastic, but if that was indeed serious, I would have to say what you think might work within the current setting would not be very agreeable to the rest of us.

The whole reason teh Golems work and can be controlled is that they have he "soul" ripped from a dwarf in them, so making one without doing that would just be a lump of metal.

This would actually be a unique idea in a fantasy rpg that wasn't based on *groan* lord of the rings, but because this one very obviusly is based on....*groan*...lord of the rings, you're stuck with generic fantasy mechanics based off the dark ages, y''know the boring post apocolypse that occured after the fall of rome, the one where we only got a working toilette system back a hundred years ago.....so yeah, let's base our fantasy rpgs on that pathetic era of one very large cultures history
