Since the latest patch and DLC download, I experienced the following bugs:
1.) In around 4-6 solo matches, primarily against Geth, enemies which enter a reloading animation cannot be staggered. Examples: (all games played Wednesday afternoon (2:00pm - 4:00pm CST) or Thursday morning (5:30am - 7:00am CST)
- Geth, Bronze, Rio - Lvl 20 Salarian Infiltrator: Use of Energy Drain (staggers Geth Troopers 100% of the time) fails to stagger any enemy which is doing a reload animation, and sometimes an enemy which is beginning a melee animation. It also appeared that the damage normally done by ED was being negated, not just the stagger effect.
- Geth, Silver, Giant - Lvl 18 Geth Engineer: Using the Geth Plasma Shotgun with Hunter mode active, most Geth units would stagger 100% of the time when hit with an uncharged shot. Also, the energy pulse from my drone would reliably stagger Geth Troopers. However, any Geth unit using a reload animation displayed immunity to stagger from either source.
- Reapers, Silver, Various - Lvl 18 Geth Engineer & Lvl 20 Salarian Infiltraitor: Energy Drain, uncharged GPS shots, and drone seemed not to stagger Marauders which appeared to be reloading or using a melee attack.
2.) Teammates who die on a ramp cannot be revived by a player standing below their body. Examples: (Thursday morning game: Unk/Unk/Gold = Reapers/Hydra/Gold between 6:45am - 7:10am CST)
- A squadmate was downed near the ramp immediately forward and to the left of the starting area. His body slid down the ramp and stopped slightly before the bottom. I attempted to revive him from the bottom of the ramp, but the icon would not display, and the command would not begin reviving him. I moved above the body on the ramp and looked down at him before the icon would appear. After reviving him, his character disappeared, only to reappear at the top of the ramp apparently. (Note: there was some minor lag in game, but not severe enough to account for the 5 second + delay it took me to get above him on the ramp. (a brute was complicating the situation.))
3.) Shadowstriking a Geth Rocket Trooper consistently results in an instant rocket explosion which breaks the Shadow's sheilds and staggers her. Example: (This match happened shortly after the latest patch release, Firebase Vancouver, Geth, Silver, Solo with Lvl 20 Shadow if I recall.)
- On every occasion which I used Shadow Strike on a Rocket Trooper (cloaked, uncloaked, aware of me or firing at my last known location with me behind it already) upon teleporting behind the RT and striking it, a rocket explosion would invariably occur on contact, even with the RT facing away from me. It would instantly drain shields and often stagger my character, leading to instant death. SS is basically a suicide button when used on them now.
4.) All Geth units see through cloak, even at range or during Shadow Strike teleportation. Example: (during the same match as above, and during the Rio, Geth, Bronze, Salarian Infiltrator match from above.)
- Generally, Geth enemies of all types (Troopers, Rocket Troopers, Pyros, Primes, Hunters, and Bombers apparently) are equally unaffected by cloaking. Regardless of distance, cloaking has no effect on enemy accuracy and does not appear to conceal movement. Only by putting walls or opaque cover between you and Troopers (then flanking around it) can their attention be diverted. But if you cloak and walk into a 360* line of sight of any Geth unit (regardless of distance or facing) they seem to immediately turn and open fire with pinpoint accuracy.
- Also, there were several occasions where I would move out of sight, circle behind Troopers, Pyros, etc... cloak, then SS the target, only to have the enemy become aware of me, turn, and melee me on arrival and before the SS was complete.
I believe the cloaking issue has been brought up before, but the others I could not find when searching the tech help.
