OK here is the deal I am a huge Berserk Fan

(Great anime series,  if you have not had the pleasure I would suggest DL everything except the last 2 episodes ...seriously avoid the last 2 episodes)

So I want to build myself a Guts character which means of course a 2H warrior but what else should i load him up with. any ideas would be apprciated.

Stength other than that all you need is the Berserkr Specialty and two handed maxed out as well as the first tree under warrior.

Dont worry two much about constitution as you can get armour and rings and such that SIGNIFICANTLY increase it, just look at what my Dwarf is wearing, he was a two handed warrior berserkr.

I'm sure you already started a char but I wouldn't put anymore in con but to level it out(like it starts at 12 take it to 15) 2 in strength 1 in dex. Why? strength means better armor, weapons, & talents. While dex means higher chance to hit, higher chance to evade attacks & higher crit chance. I've only leveled a 2H to lv 10 then reolled b/c it just wasn't for me but my char was devastating!!! a high cons rarely ever helps dex is much more beneficial. Dex effects many things while con only effects 1 thing i believe.

Good points made thanks for the help the High DEX score can also come in handy with occasional ranged attack. Im also doing some POISON MAKING to get use of the thrown AOE attacks. (Guts uses a cannon to occasionally level the playing field against tougher foes)



I might just reroll this latest character again -- I've lost track of the amount of times i've done that.



danm game keeps surprising me with some new nook or cranny that I want to explore.

I went mainly strength with my 2-H warrior and a good amount of dexterity. Indomitable and Berserker both add bonus to attack so I normally keep Indomitable on and use fury or whatever the berserker buff is when the battle starts.(sorry sites not listing my berserker talents) Also the whole First list of the warrior talent is good I used to not like precise stricking untill i got the wardens keep.

Don't put dex on a 2h warrior, ever. That's just ignorance of what the skill does. Strength increases your hit chance just as much as dex, so all you get from dex is higher defence.

If you want to be a 2 handed tank then you'll need dex. Go to 40 or 42 with strength, put the rest into dex. You won't hit as hard, but you'll be able to tank. The other option is to go champion, get to superiority. First knock everyone down with sweep, when they get back up, knock them down with shout. If they're on their backs, they can't hit you...

Just an off question here, but is Berserk supposed to turn itself off after each and every fight? I find that a bit annoying and tedious to put up with.

I believe the person was trying to make a character like the one in Berserk "anime" GUTS But its all about the same main line str some con guts is tough

If your going to be a PURE DAMAGE WARRIOR(no matter what weapon) you must have:

MAX STR

18 DEX

25 WILLPOWER

none on the others. Maybe some on constitution since your the main char and need some skills. maximum on constitution is 20, minimum is 10



if your going to be a TANK WARRRIOR, you must have:



42 STR (for the best armors)

MAX DEX (because your tank, you would be ....beatle headed not to put in dex)

and 20 on constitution....requirement

You don't need to waste attributes on any other thing just

dex also makes you harder to hit... making it good for defence.. i mean i would rather not get hit than worry about my health droping like crazy..

I think it may be part of the DLC, but keep traveling till you get a random encounter that is a parody of Superman's origin. You get this star metal that can be forged into the best 2H sword in the game.

I kept sten through my first playthrough with indomitable on at all times. He managed to get the kill for all three dragons.
