Finally did it, after so many fail attempts.. Have to say collector is currently the most challenging faction, combining geth cheapness, it's insane. Not to mention health gate doesnt work half of the time, I can drop dead instantly even with full shield. Anyways screenies below video will be up soon.

It wouldn't be a complete story if it didn't happen on Ghost
Objectives
Kill
Kill
Drone
Build.
About my build, it's not the best build for team gameplay, I made it solely for the purpose of this solo, because in early runs I got dropped instantly by basic troopers or captains/mauraders etc, stimpack is of no use if I don't even have a chance, possbily cause by healthgate issue.
Accolyte, I mainly use it for dropping barriers and killing phantoms because phantoms have some insane DR on host, when their barrier's up.

Tips for soloing plat
One reason I made this thread is to impress everyone ^^ not really, most importantly I'm bringing good news to those who want to complete the platinum solo challenge at least once.
As some of you have realized, Kroguard has given his Throne of solo King to our new mighty Ghost infiltrator. 8 free panic button, recharge shield without getting overwhelmed? tac cloak, damage boost? Overload stun.. need I say more? I failed with my Wraith GI but I made it the first time I used ghost.
So yeah, easy way to do it, set it to Cerb plat because there's only primes on wave 8 for the stunlock everyone loves, equip grenade gear, play careful and patient, you too can become a solo master
Having said that, words of advice, do NOT pick collectors, I learnt it the hard way ;o

Tips for becoming "Collector General"
As I've done countless collector runs by now, my collector mastery is almost complete and lemme share some of my experience.
- Praetorians have weak spot. Shoot their plate off their belly so the skulls reveal, and shoot them. I've had gotten 10 headshot medal from that when its the last enemy. Also they will flip over like a real bug or staggered and back away when you've done enough damage to their armor, so no need to run away when they get too close when you have enough firepower, to get a better idea, watch the video.
- Scions, thanks to the guy who brought up shooting their sacks to stagger them. Not sure if that increases damage tho.
- when overwhelmed, check if possessed abomination is near you before you decide to nuke em..., or else get nuked.
Overall, they're pretty easy on gold, if you have enough firepower, unlike geth they don't stunlock as much. Only thing stunlocks is Scion cannon as far as I can recall. But they are super deadly, so is Praetorian's beam and their homing missiles, not sure if it's intended or the bug, both attack can make shield/healthgate non existent. And of course, stay on the move, don't camp. They only become insane on plat when they force you out of cover on wave 7/8 where there're primes...

rant about gameplay mechanics etc.
- healthgate issue, there's a thread about it not gonna get into this.
- one button dodge/sprint, it was bad as we know, it's more noticeable with the jet pack dodge since it dodges longer which also makes you unable to control your characters longer..
- banshee warp turning 180 degree homing on you.. I recall it didn't do that before. On the plus side it can now be dodged consistently.
- Atlas rocket turning 720 degrees is a well known fact, now comes with DoT. That's how I failed my GI solo runs, tac cloak runs away *dies*...
- and geth.. bioware would you watch wave 8 in my vid, who'd enjoy that, stunlock everywhere, do you even play geth yourself? I failed many times because I can't even raise my arm to stim myself... drone and primes attack homes in across the map even cloaking..
Enough rant, thanks for watching, and hope this video/tips help.
