Last night in a PUG game a player saw me use the light melee on my Volus. He went postal two seconds later yelling that I modded a tactical cloak onto that character. He then told me after he saw my Talon X that it was impossible to have an ultra rare at X beacuse you only get one ultra rare out of every ten packs you buy and bioware has stated that is a fact.

Other comments included but are not limited to..

"These challange points are bugged it still says I have zero and ive done like 30 of them"

"I read that bioware gave the collectors each a 50% damage bonus"

"Oh my god give me a medi-gel with that transmitter skill thing you have I am out" (Wave 4... XD)

"Ok this is impossible, theres no way that scion can shoot 10 bombs at me when I am in cover"

"The whip guy is hitting me kill the dragon kill the dragon I am gonna die"

It was a pretty funny group of games. Whats the funniest thing you have ever heard a player say in the game?

cheezycat. But in all seriousness, half the time, I can't even make out what they are saying, voice is often broken out with alot of noise.

The part that made it funny was the fact that he was complaining I was taking to long as I tried to carry him through a wave. We wiped on 5.

I had a guy with a modded Volus last night.
He said he put 0 points in proximine and couldn't debuff enemies for us.
He said, "have you seen the recon mine"?
After the match and his 30k, we booted him from the lobby as I instructed him and his 2500 N7 rank to go play bronze.
Totally modded his Volus Engineer to be bronze worthy, while attempting to play gold.

Funniest thing I ever heard was a guy explaining the game to his friend, "See... this is wave 2, there is no telling how many waves there will be, it could be infinite!, only Bioware knows how many waves there will be this game!"

I've been accused of modding my Particle Rifle to fire indefinitely because I outscored some guy with a Turian Sentinel (which is apparently a bad class because he can't roll, and I'm apparently a bad player because my N7 rank is 660.)

I could spend all day posting stupid things that people say in this game.

Also, no missile glitchers, proper controls, no auto-aim (AKA swarmer lock), very few racist, homophobic entitled 12 year olds, the list goes on.

Cuase 12 year olds kids dont understand the system requirements on the back of the box, and if they somehow manage to get there hands on this game most of the time there comp is very lacking and not very good. If they get passed all that watching my younger nephews to master the mouse keyboard at ther age is pretty funny.

Also Most Home PC ive seen from average users usually dont have mics, and the lack of text is also another deterant for them to type bad things to other players..

Why is that, out of interest? I've played with you once and you're clearly an excellent player. Do you just not promote out or is it more complicated than that?

This after I, for the fourth wave straight, soloed the remaining enemies after they had bled out.

Listening to RoseLaddie's volus banter is among the funniest things I've heard in a game too.

Him: "BEWARE THE BIOTIC GOD!"
Me: "Shut up, shorty."
Him: "Are you talking down to me?"

I honestly had no idea Volus had cloak until I tried to melee. So useful for reviving. It truly makes them the true and best support class. It's amazing.

The funniest for me was at the end of a silver game the score displays and the top scorer started screaming I beat all you dead beats. I carried you so much you all suck. I laughed so hard into the mic because he was playing a lvl 20 engineer and me a lvl 5 HI. I was 105 points behind him in score and had joined the match mid 5th wave, which I had to finish as they were all dead. It was quite hilarious and even more so because he didn't get it and believed his own words. lol

Weelllll we do have mics, we just don't choose to use them. It's like a convenient and comfortable silence, until we actually do need to say something important.

my favorite one, i was using my Destroyer on Reapers, Gold, FB Giant. PR II w/ piercing mod + capacity, AP lvl IV. i was taking down anything armor (brute, banshee, ravager) in seconds. the guy very quickly accused me of modding because the PR was NOT that strong and his was higher level then mine. i explain to him im using Devastator Mode (max dmg) & AP ammo 4. extraction wave, im the lone survivor who didnt run out there right way. game lobby, im kicked with in 10 seconds lol

I have no incentive to ever promote my characters unless:

1. I don't have any power reset cards and i want to try out a new build
2. A weekend challenge requires characters to be promoted

... and that's it. I might actually start now with the new challenge system in place since I'm a completionist. (damn you Bioware)
