I always thought DA3 would be out by May/June 2013. While that appears unlikely at the minute, I won't rule it out completely just yet.

I'd have thought they'd aim for an October/November 2013 release, as that would have given them a decent amount of development time and they'd benefit from the whole Christmas thing. But summer 2013 works just as well. It's still 2 years or so since the DA2 release.

Wishful thinking doesn't hurt anyone, but as much as I might like to receive the third installment earlier than they are indicating (Fall of 2013), I do not believe that the publication of this art book means that they could be pulling a fast one over DA3's actual release date.

Meh. I don't see any point in buying the guide as all of its info and pics will likely end up on the Dragon Age Wiki within a week, if most of it isn't already on there already. I suppose one could buy it if the paper is really nice and the binding glue smells particularly great, but then there are far easier ways of getting those things. Or so I've heard.
