That would be awesome....bring back the Hammerhead
no offense to the guys who came up with the Hammerhead, but it was terrible. I prefer the mako, thank you.

That said, it looks like a lot of fun. I like those environments, too. I just hope there's a good story to back it up.

Watched the demo and the Omega DLC appears to be a bunch of kill rooms tacked together with the now obligatory ME3 action cut-scenes.
Are you talking about the IGN demo? They clearly stated in the beginning that was a shorthand version of it. They cut out most of the conversations.

Think I caught the demo on Gamespot and can't recall Gamble saying much about exposition being cut.

At least the Mako had shields. The hammerhead is better as a paperweight (and it's probably not even very good as that!)Sidney wrote...

I haven't lurked as much as I should have really, but it's late so can someone tell me why this DLC happens to cost more if such things as a hub-world won't be introduced, what features does it have that justify the price?
This is not meant to sound snarky, no one jump down my throat if they think it is please
Potentially to cover the cost of the voice actors? We can try and guess but we won't really know until we play it...
Also, there is an interview where Bioware mention that they have been working on this since the end of the main game, that's a long time.
Not justifying the price, just providing an alternative perspective.
Ahh, thank you very much. I kind of hope that isn't the only reason and the long development time means more than just shooting at a lot of cerberus shock troops. Have to admit I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of a hubworld, I can't be the only one sick of the Citadel.

I really wanted to see what happened with the Omega situation, this is great, I've never had a problem with the amount BioWare has charged for DLC. If you can't afford it or can but just feel like complaining about the price, don't because nobody cares and it's not going to change.
I'm looking forward to the Omega DLC, I don't know about the rest of you but I am.

I love how the first few things I saw when I opened this thread was people whining and complaining about the price of the DLC.....here's the thing, DLC is always going to cost money and developers need that money to continue to create awesome content. Leviathan was more than worth the money it cost, I figured it'd be a lot more money than it was, but it wasn't.

i know I am too! $15 is worth the price, in my opinion.

Pretty much what I suspected. Unlike Leviathan, Omega was never said or implied to have any connection to the overarching plot. As long as it's good in its own right, consider me a happy panda.isnudo wrote...
I just watched the Gamespot demo, and it turns out that Omega is a standalone story. As in, no connection to the Reaper war (and likely nothing on the Collectors either), which is a shame. It brings up the issue of why Shepard would even devote the time to helping Aria, and I'm guessing it's all about stopping Cerberus (again).
That said, it looks like a lot of fun. I like those environments, too. I just hope there's a good story to back it up.

Yep. It does look like good fun, so I'm still looking forward to it.

I heard on the live stream preview of the Omega DLC that you could use Garrus (aka Archangel) if he is alive in your game.
Not shure if funny or serious.

I need to watch it again to be sure when Garrus can be with you in the DLC, but I believe it is in part 3 of the DLC. The DLC will be out on November 27 (November 28 for PS3 players in Europe).

He meant you have to complete mission on the moon of Palaven (the one where you recruit Garrus) in order to get access to the Omega mission by talking to Aria. None of the current squadmates are involved in this dlc as we get two temporary for the whole duration.phillip100 wrote...

Oh. I must've misheard what they were saying on the livestream video. I really need to listen to what they actually say before I post about it.

Well then, that rather convinces me not to get this DLC.
