He meant you have to complete mission on the moon of Palaven (the one where you recruit Garrus) in order to get access to the Omega mission by talking to Aria. None of the current squadmates are involved in this dlc as we get two temporary for the whole duration.phillip100 wrote...
I need to watch it again to be sure when Garrus can be with you in the DLC, but I believe it is in part 3 of the DLC. The DLC will be out on November 27 (November 28 for PS3 players in Europe).
Well then, that rather convinces me not to get this DLC.
Aria must have a reason why she doesn't want any of your squadmates to be with you retaking Omega. Also, I think the DLC is going to be good even without our squadmates. Btw, one of the temporary squadmates is a female Turian.

For me it's rather disappointing as I hoped (as many others) to bring Archangel back to Omega, but still getting this DLC. Still, Shadow Broker also had temporary squadmate in form of Liara (and the other chosen one didn't matter as there were no additional dialogues for them) and it was one of the best DLCs. Of course it kinda feels like one step backwards when compared to Leviathan, in which all squadmates were selectable and had new lines.TS2Aggie wrote...

I doubt that. It would take another DLC for this to happen. Besides, there would be no point in doing that. Only if they decided to bring back Collectors like they did in multi.artificial-ignorance wrote...
If we don't end up going back through the Omega-4 relay ill be sad.

Has anyone heard/know anything about what kind of dialogue is in Omega? We complained for months (and with good reason) about all the auto dialogue in the game, and yet there it was in Leviathan. I don't mean to get all "Is BW listening?" but one would hope they would put more dialogue options for Shep into the DLC since they know we hate the auto dialogue.
More then likely its not going to change since it's "the way" Bioware is makeing the games now.

If this DLC is as much as Lair of the Shadow Broker was, and is as big, if not bigger than that DLC, then I can guess that Omega, by the end of the mission will become another HUB world you can visit, much like the Shadow Broker Base (ship) became a place you could visit and hang out in. (The Shadow Broker base sorta acted like an extension of the Normandy, with the armor and weapon locker, information camera feed features, music player, and even resource purchase terminal.)
Confirmed that Omega is not a HUB. www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-11-07-back-to-omega-aria-and-nyreen-mass-effects-first-female-turian-star-in-4-hour-dlc

It's just been so long now, and while the series lastest, it was the greatest trilogy I have ever experianced, and all 3 games will remain with me forever, as they are truely a work of art, not just as games, but the story. Brilliant, down to the last detail. However... Back to my earlier point, isn't it just getting to be a bit more long winded now? It just seems like EA is pushing out all these idea's for DLC, because of all the free multiplayer ones (which i dont care for in the slightest)?
I mean, like when I read a book, I don't read it, then find the author has chosen to release pages 123-146 as an "optional extra", do i? and why would i go back and read the whole book again, to get that part?
I liked the single player DLC's from ME1 and 2, they added to the story and that, as I'm sure the new ME3 ones do... But for starters, what's up with price? It must be some pretty big DLC to charge that for it, or (more likely) EA has chosen to charge more, to make up for all that lovely "free" multiplayer DLC? No?
Well, either way, I shant be purchasing any more content for Mass Effect... It's a shame, I don't really know why, but my heart no longer lies with the series. Was it the huge heart break of the origional ending, that we didn't get? Or the fact EA now controls the series? Or maybe something else? ...I don't know, but none the less, it's a shame.
Goodbye Bioware.

Or, maybe, everyone can quit complaining about the price, and lack of content, and the fact that Omega isn't a hub or that there are no permanent Squadmates, and be happy we're EVEN GETTING DLC. Every consider that? No probably not, because you're too busy complaining about EVERYTHING, from the ending, the DLC, etc.ThatGuyThatPlaysThisGame wrote...
