Is there going to be more DLC after this?

I heard rumors of a Citadel DLC. Again, these are only rumors.

You think the DA2 team was bad, Quantic Dream dropped all post-release DLC for Heavy Rain to make a Move Edition. By the time they were done, everyone had already moved on. And don't get me started on Bethesda. PlayStation players waited months for Fallout 3 DLC after everyone else, and now it is happening with Skyrim, too. Read the other day that X-Box 360 nearly have the 3rd DLC while PS users are still waiting on Bethesda to get satisfactory performance on the first before they release it. People were angry, disappointed and upset about it months ago and now some are already past the point of caring any more, myself included.

I don't care about Fallout 3 or Heavy rain or any games that was not made by Bioware.

The Dragon Age 2 game lost me with Mark of the Assassin as the final product and people ended up with more loose ends that were never tied up. Legacy was fun cause it had some meaning to the Hawke Family. Mark of the assasin was just a cash grab from  Felicia Day's own fan made series Dragon Age: Redemption that didn't add anything to the main game or Hawke. After that the Dragon Age 2 Team decided to call it quits after Felicia Day's DLC wasn't a hit.

Still i've always felt Bioware was very much like Warner Bros when it came to fast track productions on the items within 1 year instead of 3 to 4 years and look how that turned out for both parties. WB and Bioware both got negative reviews and Bioware got that um... worst company award since they confessed that they are EA as well.

yes of course . carrie an moss is the perfect fit for aria t loak. PERFECT.

On another note it seems less and less likely that omega will add anything significant to the central lore. It will be just 5 hours more shooting . hope I'm wrong.

I hate to say if, but I was sold when Carrie Ann Moss played Aria in Mass Effect 2...

The War for Omega begins... just not on Wii U.

Admit it, the only reason you made that shoddy port was for multiplayer cash.

Lair of the Shadow Broker does not add anything to the central lore too.

Just a random thought that's probably been brought up before, but the "how far will you go" tagline has got me wondering if destroying Omega is going to be one of the options for finishing this.

No, comfirmed multiple time by Bioware, either Aria or the female turian.

Bioware has to wait till December to release Omega on Wii U since thats when the Wii U online services have been started.

We're just shy of being a week out. I'm sure something will pop up by the end of the week.

Can't we just enjoy the mini-story a DLC represents instead of pitting it against the main game, which had WAY more resources put into it?

Leviathan "added to the central lore", and that was the one part of the DLC I hated. As far as gameplay and aesthetic quality, it was actually far, far better than I'd expected.

I fully expect to enjoy Retake Omega because I like Aria as a character, Omega as a location and culture and the sheer size of it should keep me from feeling that dreaded, "Aw, crap, it's DLC so it must be ending soon" feeling.

I don't know what you guys mean by central lore, but the Shadow Broker has been a theme throughout both ME1 and ME2. Pretty sure it was very lore heavy. Also, it added lore to every single main character in the game.

Obviously Omega is not that grand in design. There is no way to add lore the way that LotSB did. It most likely is going to be a fun tie in with the comics. And a way to further attach the game's plot to ME2. That is probably it. I am not actually sure how much more a modern DLC is supposed to do.

Why is it 5 dollars more than the previous DLC? If it's not longer and bigger with more to do than it's a ripoff.

Yeah I'm a tad disappointed about the no Normandy squad mates thing. Also you can't return to Omega after your done. Also I finally get paired up with a female Turian and she can't stick around that sucks. So I have this one big empty room in the Normandy (you know the one Thane used to be in) that she could have stayed in. They say its the biggest DLC they've ever done yet I keep hearing alot about what I can't do and less of what I can do. I'm going to buy it sure but damn not has excited has I was at first. Also Aria stays unbangable ah well I got Tali so I'm good.

I sort of agree.  Remember, DLC's according to Bioware are limited to 2 GBs.  While it would be nice to play with my own squadmates, squadmates require extra space, and if "the longest DLC ever" is the goal, I understand why bioware did what it did.

One of the producers, I believe Michael Gamble said that Omega is meant to be a side story, not directly involved in the over all Mass Effect 3 plot.

I'm actually quoting Michael Gamble; yes the end of the world is coming...

Well, let's hope for a bit Resolution. Destroy or keep the Collector base, i hope this has a infuence since it didn't have any significant influence in the main game.
