My thoughts on the DLC:

Story was fairly straightforward. A little too much focus on action. Gameplay was awesome no surprise there. Dialogue and linearity was a little less which was nice. Nyreen was a waste. I felt no sympathy for her. That one speech of Aria's where she talks to the people of Omega midway through was terrible. She sounded bored. Overall better than Leviathan but still could've been better.

I agree, It's probably one of the worst single player DLCs out of the entire Mass Effect Trilogy Bioware had to offer, and I think the biggest problem was the lack of payoff. Firewalker had new gameplay, Overlord had a terrific ending, Stolen Memories added Kasumi and had the best mission in the game. LotSB was well paced and expended the story and if you romanced Liara you get extra bonus, Arrival expended the story, Leviathan and From Ashes expanded the lore of Mass Effect.

Omega had nothing. Almost nothing in the way of choices, dialogue options, or even conversations. BioWare has truly abandoned everything that made it great, and even after everything that's happened with ME3 they're too blind, egotistical, and delusional to see it, let alone acknowledge it.

And i still haven't got my answer on Aria being Aleena that Wrex spoke off.

I couln't agree more about overlord. The Paragon Ending where Shepard pistol whips Archer was terrific. It gave me chills. Leviathan, while it did add lore to the universe, did nothing for me. Arrival while it did expand the story it was way too linear and did not even have much of an effect on ME3 besides a mention in dialouge. Overall ME2 had wonderful Single-Player add ons. ME3 sadly has had 4 and only 1 of them has been worth my money, being From Ashes. I even liked Bring Down the Sky from ME1.

It seems Bioware is taking the mistakes of ME3 and continuing to put them in DLC packs.

Where are the story masters from Bioware I used to know?

What is even worse is that after the Omega DLC is done, there is no extra dialogue from the illusive man himself about it. I thought that there would have been restored lines by Martin Sheen that were already recorded just like that catalyst kid and Aria.

I have to say that I was looking forward to Omega DLC when ME3 first came out.

I was somewhat wary when I read lots of negative comments on here, but when I finally got the DLC; I instantly fell in love with it. I found Leviathan playable because I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but Omega was genuinely something I was excited about.

I guess everyone who was disappointed in Omega was in the camp that wanted to romance Aria. I guess they were annoyed that Aria spent the whole DLC flirting with Nyreen. For me, it was awesome; I loved fighting alongside Aria and I loved her banter with Nyreen.

The only negative thing I can pick is that it wasn't longer. I hated the way Nyreen died; if she had to die, it should've been better. Another thing is a gripe I have in ME3 in general, and that is the pickups. I found it annoying to run around for pointless crap which detracted from the general enjoyment.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this DLC for the simple fact that Aria is awesome.

I was just checking last minute details about how good or bad this DLC is and i have to say you ruined it for me, you Spoiled everything by telling everyone how the DLC ends , now that i know the end of it all i have to say is  shame on you. You are the reason i will not be buying or playing this dlc. Stupid people will always be stupid and someone like you that brings spoilers in such manner doesn't deserve to be allowed on this forum.

Check the thread. A lot of people talked about the ending. No need to be rude to one member.

You shouldn't of checked a thread that was about the DLC then if you didn't want spoilers. -_-

If you want to know why someone likes or dislikes a story, you will read spoilers.

If you don't want details - just a binary opinion - read the numbers of Metacritic, or start a poll right here.

I thought the final battle would have been more challenging....or am I getting good at this game? Either way, life is pretty good right now.

Also the big (Spoilers Allowed) notice on top of the forum aught to have given you some warning as to what you where in for. No one to blame but yourself for that spoiler really.

Best DLC ever! I loved it!

In my eyes it will be hard for them to top the Omega DLC unless it changes the ending in some manner.  (though I do appreciate the Extended Cut).   Whatever it is they have coming for that last DLC, this will be hard to beat.

What was "best" about it? A glitched cutscene before and during Aria's speech to the citizens of Omega?

It's like she kept spinning around and disappearing. Aria still being back on the citadel, the very place she hates after Omega is taken back? There's no extra words from the Illusivie man about it. No one on the Normandy will have new dialogue after the DLC is done. And you say it's the Best?

It's too bad this DLC will have no true repercussions and won't effect the game as a whole. Same goes for the gameplay, design, rushed concept, copy paste character design, stock image, a terrible ending, deconstruction of characterizations and disregard for canon.

One thing is not in question, we like Omega or not: That it was delivered with many bugs and they still exist without the slightest manifestation of EA and Bioware to correct them! Since there are unpatched bugs in ME and ME2 so far, so I think there will be in ME3! Now If we consult the assistance of EA this one send us to these forum, but in these forum they (the moderators) say that it isn't intended to provide official technical assistance!?

I agree that Omega was full of Bugs, why release this dlc if it's so poorly made and not checked properly for bugs? Anwser: Bioware suffers from corporate greed and they don't care about the fans. Bioware only cares about profiteering, being selfish, and greed.

I didn't notice any glitches in that scene.  And I think you're being over critical.  I was expressing how I felt about it.  As I am sure you have expressed your own.  I am just not as critical and I enjoyed the story.

While it would have been nice to have new dialogue options after the DLC, who would you have it with?  Aria?  She said Purgatory had too many ears, so they wouldn't talk about it anyway.  Doesn't make sense for her to be there after the event, I agree.  But nothing is perfect.
And you cannot have dialogue with anyone on the Normandy as the joint venture was suppose to be secret.  All they know is you met with Aria's ships and you went over there.  Should they have asked questions afterward?  Maybe.  Or perhaps they were too busy with other things.  I don't know.  Again, this doesn't bother me.

I'm not sure what you are calling a deconstruction of characterizations or what disregards cannon.  It pretty well follows the comics with Aria and I enjoyed that.  I had a good time with the DLC.

I can either complain about the things I didn't like, or I can express what I did like.  I choose the latter, which was the story and the gameplay.

I didn't encounter any bug or whatsoever.
I really liked this dlc. The interaction with Aria was great, especially with my renegade.

During two separate (and dramatic) exchanges, I saw characters pivot strangely and walk off screen, though their voices kept going and the camera stayed put. I understand that some bugs are bound to crop up, but this distracting error really sapped the emotion from scenes that otherwise could have been pretty cool.

Ok, maybe you got lucky but i'm sure others didn't. Also as i said there's no extra words from the Illusivie man about it. And it was still one of the Biggest Missed Opportunities in the Mass Effect series in finding out whether Aria is really Aleena that Wrex spoke off.

A missed opportunity, I agree.  And I have wondered about Aleena and Wrex as well, but it seems to me if Aria was indeed Aleena, Wrex might have mentioned it.  Or perhaps he was too busy with his duties.  If they had met in Shepard's presence then I would have expected more.  Kind of like in ME2 if you bring Miranda with you to Illium, Liara and Miranda say nothing about meeting each other before.  At least nothing I remember.

Of course it was, i and many other fans wanted to know if she really was that Asari Merc Aleena that Wrex spoke off, there were even hints in Mass Effect 2 when you first meet Aria. Her words, "Better luck next time!" is something Aleena would say. That's what everyone wanted confirmation on, instead of these completely out of character exchanges where Aria alludes to her sex life.

Here's a vid for Aria's Past (alluding to Wrex's Aleena)

But thanks to this Omega DLC, it's all thrown out the window.
