Yep, unless that dlc is way bigger (and better) than LotSB, I can't see a reason to justify the price.Kinom001 wrote...
Fifteen dollars?!? I don't know if I care all that much about Omega.
Edit to clarify: I love this franchise, but this price tag is 25% of what I paid for ME3 and I've already thrown money down for the recent DLC. I find this price tag rather steep for DLC.
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Omega, I always wanted it... But the price is a bit high and gives me doubts.

$15 is a bit up there, but every now and then I'll order a pizza and wings that costs, what, $20? So, it's still less than I pay for dinner some Saturday evenings. And I can play it over.
Nevertheless, I'd appreciate it if it's longer and includes more content than a normal DLC. Might be nice if it tied up one or two loose ends, too. I keep saying that Omega would be a good place to run into Corporal Toombs.
I will say: I'd rather not have Aria forced on me as a squadmate. I don't like the squadmate forcing, and I've never been that fond of Aria. Plus, I just want more time with the regular squadmates.

Oh well, I'll just not use my car's air conditioner for a month! That should save me some gas! Wow, I'm wasting a lot of money on this series.... Why did you guys release it on the PS3?!?! And I even plan to buy an ultimate edition, if it was made!

This does make me decide one thing- if this is going to be the price range of DLC from now on- the 4th Mass Effect better let me play as Shepard (with high EMS Destroy), because I'm not purchasing it without that assurance, and sinking hundreds of dollars into one game has to be worth it. Screw prequels, set in the future, I want present-day. And that means I want an assurance before its released, no wait and see.
If it affects the Endings and gives me a awesome epilogue with victory celebrations- then we'll talk.

May add a few lines like Leviathan did or the EC, but to change them completely? It's doubtful. They've been pretty firm that there won't be any more post-ending or ending related DLCs. The Extended Cut was their compromise so to speak. Everything that they do in terms of DLC will come before the ending happens. Kind of like this Omega DLC will be completed before you start the final mission.

I am not going to hate on BioWare, but for that price. It better be more than just good. It better be freaking amazing!
Better yet, for that price it better have at least 5-6 hours worth of content or more. Or an expansion worth of content!
This right here will be the nail in the coffin for BioWare, as far as Mass Effect is concerned. This could make or break them all together.
I am not going to get my hopes up, but I am looking foreward to this with an open mind. I pray it isn't a let down!
Don't let us fans down BioWare. You got a lot on your plate. Do right by yourselves and your fans!

Is there a reason this is announced with one line and a small blog without even a unqiue concept art picture while the latest DLC had a impressive trailer and everything?
well if you went to NYCC you got a concept art, i think it was permaturely annouced because there was a youtube (poor quality) vid for gamble stating nov 27th

Unless it affects the endings, 1200 points is too much to justify a DLC piece at full price and quite frankly I spent 78 dollars on a PC copy, 40 on an XBOX360 copy after switching. I'm not interested in spending 20 dollars, which is what it costs me with how I purchase live points on this. I'm still waiting for a patch to fix Leviathan's effects on the EC so I can play it so patch the 'SP' game and we'll talk about wasting money and bandwidth on the shiny.

Pretty sure Gamble saw the camera when he was talking about Omega. Also there are a few more events bioware will be during this month. Then i guess they will be releasing small bits of info during october.eaglefan129 wrote...
