I mean I kinda like Aria. She's not too annoying although she thinks she's the greatest thing in the universe. She helped me out a few times.. although nothing so huge that she's really important to you. And I guess I liked Omega as a hub world....

But it's not that important. It's a mined out asteroid. It's a haven of scum and villainy but for six months Cerberus/Reapers have held control of it. Isn't it safe to assume they're all indoctrinated or husk-ified by now?

I mean the only reason I could see Omega helping the war effort against the Reapers is if you kept the Collector Base and retake it from Cerberus and give it to the Alliance/Council to look into high-tech weapons and Reaper weakenesses.

I just don't see the importance of a mined out rock.

Because I want to that's why.

It's srs business.

SRS. BUSINESS.

But all in all I'm hoping for more back story. This was supposed to be in the original game but it was cut. So we might get some srs stuff.

Maybe there is more to it. You know how it works with codex entries: they are what is believed, not what is true. I still hope that Omega is an old crucible attempt of a former cycle.

I think the answer to that is going to be in "if Omega is just a scummy hive, then why would Cerberus be interested in it"? With all the other stuff going on it seems a waste of Cerberus' time to sieze Omega, so hopefully the DLC is going to shed some light on why…

Obviously Shep is drugged into becoming Aria's lapdog.

For all the game changing War assets, what can be more important then collecting more of them.

This. Its more than LotSB. My expectations thusly look like this:

Its costs more money, ergo, it damn well should have better and more content than LotSB. I'll just watch this one on Youtube.

We already know why it's important. Cerberus captured it to use it as a base for ships to enter the omega-4 relay to retrieve parts of the collector base.

Therefore, it is bound to contain lots of reapery/collectory stuff

After retaking omega, I am convinced that the normandy will pass through the omega 4 relay once again to find arcturus station.

Why would Cerberus be interested in Omega? You mean other than it being one of the largest hives in the galaxy and being extremely close to the Omega-4 relay?

ever heard you scratch my back I scratch yours? well that's what I is going on here, but I find it odd that there is no trailer yet an interesting way of revealing something.

If it contains any proper choice and any proper characterisation of Petrovsky i wouldn't be bothered by the price. Unfortunately it probably won't.

We either go to Omega and find nothing of importance, which makes this DLC superfluous, or...
we go to Omega and find something important, which is pointless because it has no impact on the ending, or...
we go to Omega and find something that has an effect on the ending, in which case Bioware is selling a complete ending to the game in installments.

Saying that though, I was completely disinterested in Leviathan, but Omega has piqued my interest slightly.

This would be interesting if we saw that Cerberus was using indoctrinated Batarians and Turians or whoever they had captured from Omega as cannon fodder soldiers in the main game.

What can Aria give you that she hasn't given you already? She gains nothing if the Reapers win but can lose much if she wastes that strength taking back a slum and a night club.

Actually they should have had those in the main game anyway. Sanctuary took in all species and yet Cerberus Troopers are only human.

There must be something important that's through the Omega-4 relay. There is the remains of the Collector Base, but there is all that Reaper Tech. Maybe something involving more Collectors?
