Exactly think about the Fornax magazine we got from Omega on ME2, this war assets will make almost every squadie excited, maybe it'll be worth 1000ems.

Element Zero.  The Crucible.

oh come now that reason is just too boring, going to the Black Market and buying a bunch of Eezo sounds very dull, Omega 4 relay, Collectors, and Fornax magz, sound way more fun, but i gues it will be as dull as you said, Aria offering Omega and the whole Eezo mine if he/she helps or mentioning some sort of secret that could help em or something close to that.

I mean I kinda like Aria. She's not too annoying although she thinks she's the greatest thing in the universe. She helped me out a few times.. although nothing so huge that she's really important to you. And I guess I liked Omega as a hub world....

But it's not that important. It's a mined out asteroid. It's a haven of scum and villainy but for six months Cerberus/Reapers have held control of it. Isn't it safe to assume they're all indoctrinated or husk-ified by now?

I mean the only reason I could see Omega helping the war effort against the Reapers is if you kept the Collector Base and retake it from Cerberus and give it to the Alliance/Council to look into high-tech weapons and Reaper weakenesses.

I just don't see the importance of a mined out rock.

It's something to do until we become a breath-torso?

And I read the entry on the Mass Effect wiki. They took the station so they could have easy access to the Omega 4 relay and the reaper salvage.

...

...So? 9 out 10 of my Shepards have that base in ruins. Is grabbing some Reaper salvage really going to change the war? We're already stumbling over Reaper salvage any husk, cannibal, mauralder, brute, and all the others killed is Reaper salvage. There's even an N7 mission where we grab Reaper tech Cerberus was studying... nothing comes of it. And the rachni mission where Reaper Tech transforms into credits when you pick it up.

I guess we'll find out how bad we need to stop Cerberus on the DLC, but we do know that TIM salvaged a good amount of the Human Reaper and that the Collectors have returned.  We also know that Adjutants have been unleashed and they can turn organics into reaperized thralls by touch alone.

Omega used to have resources to mine. It's mined out now. Aria's just as powerful on a retaken Omega as she is on the Citadel or Noveria or anywhere.

Kaidan performs a strip dance if you take him with you.

Kaidan is whiny and it always looks like he has spit collecting at the side of his mouth. Make it Cortez or James.

This ok?

EZO is to Omega what salt is to the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Who cares?  Fifteen bucks for something squashed enough to fit on a cruddy lo-rez Xbox?  To pointlessly fight Cerberus again for what - a hundred GAW points, if we're lucky?  It won't change anything about the endings - which is what everyone wants and will never get, it won't bring back any ME2 squaddies or add to the romances.  A few extra points for the same hated endings, maybe a new gun everyone already has in MP.

But, hey - speculations.

I'm so whelmed.

ME SP is dead, and this is just another overpriced dog-and-pony show.

I agree that SP is dead, but maybe you PC master racers should remember that ME started as a 360 exclusive.  also maybe if you didn't steal all of your games you might get nice things.  Also I am still holding out hope that Omega actually contains the content that quite a few (I can't say majority because there are no difinitive numbers) members of the community want.

I swear some people are on autowhine. You whine about not having enough hubs, you whine that there isn't more single player DLC and when they give it to you, you then whine about it anyway.

Nightclubs, dude! We must save them!

No, honestly: if it's properly written there is also one bigger goal, probably connected to the Collectors.

Because taking back Earth doesn't work out so well so we have to take something back.

Surly you jest OP! Isn't playing a one to two hour expansion for war assets you'll never see worth it at all to you?

I just want to know why we're doing it.

Leviathan was about finding answers to the origins of the Reapers and perhaps gaining allies that could turn the tide on the Reapers.

Omega is a hub from ME2 that we will assault to take back because.... Aria wanted to be Queen of a dead rock when the Reapers come for her?

Cause we "Took back" Earth? And it's a totall killer tag line. At least, that's what BioWare seems to keep saying to me through their advertising campaigns.

"Take Back ..." apparently sounds cool and bad-a-$-$, but it really falls flat when you actually fail to deliver.

Might be good. Might not. I'm in no rush to get it. Didn't pick up Leviathan either and I am doing just fine.

One would assume you are strengthening an ally, weakening an enemy (ceberus), get access to the Omega 4 relay which has tons of reaper tech floating around on the other side, and may explain why there are now collectors in multiplayer.

My theory is that Omega is just another attachment to citadel. You plug it in just like you did crucible and you get more options (krhm, colours) in the end part. After about 10 dlc:s and as many citadel acessories citadel will transform into a super mecha that wipes all reapers from this galaxy and few next ones.
