I swear some people are on autowhine. You whine about not having enough hubs, you whine that there isn't more single player DLC and when they give it to you, you then whine about it anyway.
I just want to know why we're doing it.
Leviathan was about finding answers to the origins of the Reapers and perhaps gaining allies that could turn the tide on the Reapers.
Omega is a hub from ME2 that we will assault to take back because.... Aria wanted to be Queen of a dead rock when the Reapers come for her?
One would assume you are strengthening an ally, weakening an enemy (ceberus), get access to the Omega 4 relay which has tons of reaper tech floating around on the other side, and may explain why there are now collectors in multiplayer.
The universe is covered in Reaper tech. All the major worlds are drowning in Reaper tech. And you're just throwing resources and men away to get a strategically useless rock. Yeah, it's close to the Omega 4 Relay but if we're going to go through that the Reaper IFF should still let the stealth ship slip past Omega without Cerberus being any the wiser.

My theory is that Omega is just
another attachment to citadel. You plug it in just like you did crucible
and you get more options (krhm, colours) in the end part. After about
10 dlc:s and as many citadel acessories citadel will transform into a
super mecha that wipes all reapers from this galaxy and few next ones.
Maybe.... the Crucible and Omega do share a similar shape....

yeah, it sounds like (based on previous statements by bioware) the omega DLC isn't going to change the ending, so if you're playing it because you're hoping it will add to meaning to the ultimate end of the galaxy, i wouldn't waste the $15.

I don't know how many times bioware has said that they aren't changing the endings yet some of these people can't get it through their thick skulls. We are going to be hearing the same crap from them everytime a new sp dlc comes out. They are like the kid that asks "are we there yet" every 5 minutes

Wrex > Wreav
Reegar Carbine in Multiplayer
There is no exploration in Mass Effect 3, and I don't need new armour
Yes
Where I live, snow
No
No politics on BSN please
And none of this makes the ending suck any less

You're the only one talking about changing the ending. This thread is about why are we retaking Omega and most of the comments have been jovial. Then you walk in and lay down a bunch of stereotypes to ****** people off.

I am not saying to give bioware any more money if you don't want to, I am saying your whining is annoying and repetitive. Bioware has stated ever since the EC they are done working on the endings. But some of you can't seem to figure it out so now every time a new dlc you whine about the ending.
