Because Bioware cares more about money now more than creating good games. I'm all for making money, but Bioware used to actually care about delivering a great product even if it meant they made a little less money and took more time to release.

Because they new in the long run they would make more money because it would lead to better games. Now its simply an EA puppet.

Loss of its founders is evidence of how far it has fallen.

Many in the video game industry believe that (and may be correct) that micro-transactions are the only way to continue to make money. EA clearly believes this to be the case. Hence why ME3 had a multiplayer.

Watch. Dragon Age 3 will probably have us paying for items and amor. Probably won't even get the full ending etc. Its all about money.

That's irrelevant.  In 2007 it looked good on an Xbox.  Not now.  The Xbox is the reason games still look and play like crap.  It's seriously out of date.  It needs an update.  I cannot fathom why it's never happened.

Every game I have I have bought, thanks very much.  I'm one of those freaks that like box art and manuals and things. I still buy CD's. I don't pirate movies because I like the perks. All my ME's are as CE as they get, all my DLC legit.  I don't know if you've ever pirated a game, but they're virtually unplayable - and usually riddled with viruses and dataminers.  

I'll pass.  I want it, I'll pay for it.  They're not that damn expensive.

 Also I am still holding out hope that Omega actually contains the content that quite a few (I can't say majority because there are no difinitive numbers) members of the community want.

I'll probably buy it myself.  I expect very little from it.  I hope to be pleasantly surprised, but I'm not holding my breath.

See, BSN never, ever forgives, and it has absolutely no mercy whatsoever.  

To alter ME3 in any way the fans want is an admission that they screwed things up big time.  It vindicates every hater on this board.

I understand they don't intend to work on the ending, but it also doesn't make sense. It's like going back in time and adding something to the past, and then the future doesn't change.

Doesn't. Make. Sense.

I realized Bioware was committed to a non-sensical universe when Leviathan had zero impact of the post-decision EC.  It's sad.

I don't know how many times bioware has said that they aren't changing the endings yet some of these people can't get it through their thick skulls.  We are going to be hearing the same crap from them everytime a new sp dlc comes out.  They are like the kid that asks "are we there yet" every 5 minutes

Like it or not, most people here aren't even talking about the ending, they are talking about how retaking a rock with little to no strategic value is pointless. Aria already gave you her forces, all of her cards are on the table and she is all in, there is no point in retaking Omega.

Here are several reasons:

1. Aria will then give you full support against Reapers.
2. Disrupting Cerberus/Reaper activity in the area.
3. Additional base to strike on Cerberus/Reapers.
4. Whatever resources Omega has.
5. Whatever resources Cerberus/Reapers left after being defeated.
6. Seize additional intelligence that can be used against Cerberus/Reapers.

I think what I said was you can edit the game to give you as many war assets as you want, I mean it won't mean anything but you'll have 1,000,000 war assets right?

well call me really sad... no really you can... but I will get the dlc... and yes, as the subject was raised I do think the ending didn't do all 'our' game playing and investment of time in the game justice... anyway... I will buy it because sadly I do still love the ME 'universe' and playing in it and as there isn't going to be another game... or at least for a long time...
