yeah, it sounds like (based on previous statements by bioware) the omega DLC isn't going to change the ending, so if you're playing it because you're hoping it will add to meaning to the ultimate end of the galaxy, i wouldn't waste the $15.

if you just want a fun mission/more time in the ME world without caring about the ending, then i'm sure it will be great.

I don't know how many times bioware has said that they aren't changing the endings yet some of these people can't get it through their thick skulls.  We are going to be hearing the same crap from them everytime a new sp dlc comes out.  They are like the kid that asks "are we there yet" every 5 minutes

Your love it or leave it attitude is the reason America is such a cesspool of corruption and stupidity, you blindly accept what your masters give you and don't ever strive to change anything,as insignificant as it may seem.

You are a terrible person and you make me sick.

Your tears sustain me hippy

First off, Hippie not hippy, I don't have long hair and I don't want everyone to be my friends. Secondly, i'm far from it.

Also your sheepishness sustains me.

It's about hope.
Some hope to fu** with Aria.
Some hope for change something.
Some hope to have fun.
Some hope to feel more sacrafice.
Some hope to be right about something.
Some hope that someone is wrong.

That's why we're taking back Omega. We're hoping ^^

Is English your first language?  You seem to have some problems comprehending what you read.  I never said that the Xbox was THE problem with ME.   One of the reasons the game has sucky components sure, but I certainly wouldn't blame some out-of-date console for all its problems.  Blocky low-res textures that fans have to correct, limited DLC sizes, cruddy controls and bad ports, sure, but not everything.

Heh - if I did that, it'd make me as dense as your post.

And if any Collectors show up on this dlc, then holy crap, it´s the moment where it´s 15$ that Bioware doesn´t get from me...

You show 'em, badass.

With Leviathan i thought it might hold something interesting towards the ending, with Omega, it just feels like a silly side quest. Won't be buying it, i wonder who else will agree with this.

Im not buying omega if all I get is war assets. I already have enough assets from MP alone to pretty much skip the entire game and still get the best endings.

So yea Bioware wont be getting my money unless the gamer reception is extremely favourable and includes something game changing.

We take back Omega because it's in Cerberus hands and we can't allow them access to Reaper technology in the galactic core. And I have a gut feeling that we may be able to recruit Petrovsky to our cause, unless Aria has something to say about it

I dunno they've been in control of Omega for awhile now, yet that didn't stop me from blowing them all to hell when I sacked their home base.

Cerberus found a Space Magic spell book.Half the pages are missing, but it's the key to controlling the Reapers without the Crucible. You can keep it.but isn't a war Asset and it gives you an even better Control ending by giving the Shepalyst or Sheaper more power.

I mean I kinda like Aria. She's not too annoying although she thinks she's the greatest thing in the universe. She helped me out a few times.. although nothing so huge that she's really important to you. And I guess I liked Omega as a hub world....

But it's not that important. It's a mined out asteroid. It's a haven of scum and villainy but for six months Cerberus/Reapers have held control of it. Isn't it safe to assume they're all indoctrinated or husk-ified by now?

I mean the only reason I could see Omega helping the war effort against the Reapers is if you kept the Collector Base and retake it from Cerberus and give it to the Alliance/Council to look into high-tech weapons and Reaper weakenesses.

I just don't see the importance of a mined out rock.

Because everybody and their mother asked for it and Bioware actually does listen to their fans. Contrary to popular opinion.

With the price bioware is selling it at I'm just afraid taking back Omega is going to be 10x longer and more exciting than taking back Earth, which in itself is a problem.

As for why we are taking it back I'm sure Cerberus is once again involved in some nasty business in there.

Bioware selectively listens to their fans.

Fans: "We want an ending that fits with Established Canon!"

Bioware translation: "We want an ending ...E...C!"

It was because of General Petrovsky that Aria is not rotting in a Cerberus lab and he disobeyed direct orders from TIM to send Aria to a Cerberus facility. He lied to TIM about Aria's whereabouts because it was him that allowed her to escape in the first place. He risked his own life to save her a few times from his subordinate Colonel Ashe. But we will have to see what Bioware does with him.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition comes out that week for only slightly more than this DLC.

Methinks I'll be taking back Nashkel instead...

Even though the game already hinted at a Take Back Omega DLC, and auto files of Aria being found when the game came out
