I'll buy it. For the ME series I'll buy any single player dlc they chose to put out. $15 is nothing for something that I love and I'll certainly play it enough time to get my money's worth.

For $15 dollars?? I don't think so, that's a lot of money for just a DLC. I'll be playing it from YouTube.

well considering how terrible From Ashes and Leviathan were, Bioware better step up for this one.

I actually thought both of them were quite good and you got to find out some new info about the Reapers and Leviathan tied in with a ending scene but hey that is just what I think.Posted Image

Yeah, the price is extremely steep.

Whether I buy it or not depends on whether we have squad dialogue. Aria and some random female Turian is all well and good, but if there's no Garrus and Tali then you guys can forget about taking my money.

Well, I've got no problem with the price, but it's the fact that we probably won't be able to take at least one of our permanent teammates (e.g., Garrus, or Tali, etc.) with us on the mission that will be the reason for me not to buy the Omega DLC.

Well, I going to fork that 1200 MS out, and regardless if its **** or beyond awesome, I'm still not going to buy ME4.

Really, what's the point in DLCs for ME3? The depressing endings don't exactly encourage to play the (SP) game. If Omega becomes another quest hub then maybe it's worth its cost and it may have a solid place in the campaign. Otherwise... meh, I'll youtube it.

But the question is, does it have any new weapons in it or will they release firefight pack this month or at the beginning of the next one.

I want dat Defender Armor and Valkyrie.

If it adds meaningful/exciting stuff, yes I will definitely buy it :) A new squadmate, Collectors, new IT hints, etc.

Perhaps the price has shot up as compensation for the "free" multiplayer DLC? That is why I can understand why people are complaining about the price of this one.

The multiplayer side of the game does seem to be getting all the attention and promotion. Lavished with continual updates, balance tweaks and free content that shakes up how the mode is played.

Compare that to the fairly lackluster efforts on the single player side, where the effort seems to have also been given to the shooter aspects rather than the story, and it isn't hard to see why people may be fearful that all their 1200 points or $15 dollars is going to get them is more of the same weak story-telling and shooting galleries.

1200 points is quite a steep price especially considering that I haven't been impressed with the quality of the single player DLC released so far. Indeed I'm one of those who think it wasn't just the ending of Mass Effect 3 that lacked quality but felt the design philosophy for the game as a whole was "that'll do!"

I'll never say I'm going to boycott Bioware content, such a thing would be foolish, but for the price the quality of the Omega DLC is going to need, for me, to be far greater than anything Mass Effect 3 has offered so far.

After Leviathan, imho next to LotSB one of the best, of not the best DLC to date, I'll gladly pay that. Finally a release date! Can't wait!!

I'm in the same boat. I thought other than maybe LotSB, Leviathan was  Bioware's best Mass Effect related DLC. After Leviathan I'm looking forward to Omega.

Seems like a good deal to me if it's twice the length of Leviathan.

Perhaps it's a hub world too, which would justify the increased price as well.

Either way, an extra 5 dollars will not stop me from playing it.

I still doubt whether I'll get this DLC. I think all the DLCs so far have been too short to justify the cost. Leviathan should have been €6, not €8. I also absolutely hate Aria, so unless I can really screw her over, I doubt I'll enjoy her company.

I expect numerous whining threads from " self entitled, self righteous individuals to FREE content because they bought the game & supported franchise from the beginning" concerning price of Omega DLC.

Did you think it's going to be free?

1200 MSP isn't expensive.

Hell no I didn't think it was going to be free. But after playing Leviathan it was to short to pay 800ms points for it when we payed 560 for kasumi DLC which atleast gave us a party member.

I love Kasumi but they should have gave her a dialogue wheel.
