I expect numerous whining threads from " self entitled, self righteous individuals to FREE content because they bought the game & supported franchise from the beginning" concerning price of Omega DLC.

Did you think it's going to be free?

1200 MSP isn't expensive.

This is true. 1200 is not even expensive.

Hell no I didn't think it was going to be free. But after playing Leviathan it was to short to pay 800ms points for it when we payed 560 for kasumi DLC which atleast gave us a party member.

I love Kasumi but they should have gave her a dialogue wheel.

Agreed!!!

Hey BW!
Kasumi could be useful in retaking Omega. :bandit:

Maybe Omega will be a hub again after the dlc, that would make it worth it.

and anyway, as someone else said, 1200 msp's (15 bucks), isnt that pricy and i would still  buy this, because i want SOMETHING interesting to do in my story

It has been officially announced:

http://blog.bioware....r-omega-begins/

And it appears that our "permanent" teammates won't be able to take part in the story, as they can in the Leviathan. (If it's really true, then the Omega DLC isn't my cup of tea, and I won't buy it.)

On another note these guys complaining about prices...do you actually play other games...are you that obtuse..?
COD has been charging all MP DLC , which is crap by the way(5 maps in the last one), for 15 bucks. They would have charged you 15 for Levi too, I'm sure if Bio put that price it's gonna be worth the legth it'll have.

I live in South america where my currency is devaluated 15 dollars means more money for me than it would actually do if I lived in USA or Europe, thanks to origin I must pay in Euros which is even more devaluated hence more expensive....yet you don't see me whining.I work for my money and it still seems fair if it's too short then yes, the next time I'll be more careful.

So far I haven't been let down by Bioware in terms of DLC...I liked Leviathan adn the weapons pack and I also have all the ME2 dlc and ME1's except Pinnacle.

well considering how terrible From Ashes and Leviathan were, Bioware better step up for this one.

I tough leviathan was pretty good, only a step down from LOTSB

they way i look at it.

we got From Ashes, which gives us the last Prothean. Javik at many points contradicts what has been established about the Prothean Empire. And on top of that we recruit him on Eden Prime, the location where Mass Effect began. Eden Prime is the first level you go to in ME1
Yet in ME3 it is glanced over, no reference to the first game, no explanation as to how Saren, Sovereign and a Geth army somehow missed the last prothean.
before and after the prothean beacon was recovered there must have been scientists and archeologists that again did not find Javik, but he in conveniently found while an extinction level event is happening.

then we get Leviathan. Strengthens the indoctrination theory (which i don't hate or support) i just feel i should get closure when i pay 90$ to the conclusion of a trilogy.

Leviathan reduces the reapers further to a laughable enemy.
anyone remember "we have no beginning, we have no end. We simply are" according to the leviathans the reapers very much have a beginning, and becuase of a magical red tube they will have an end.

and how long exactly was task force aurora going on?
I would think Hackett would've shared this information when Shepard became a Spectre, or when he started warning about reapers, or when he sent us to rescue Dr.Kenson, or at the start of ME3.

No one's asking for this to be free, just not as expensive as it's currently priced.

Yeah, the price is extremely steep.

Whether I buy it or not depends on whether we have squad dialogue. Aria and some random female Turian is all well and good, but if there's no Garrus and Tali then you guys can forget about taking my money.

I agree whit you.

Bioware does realize a massive full length RPG was just released for $20 right?

This thing better be damn amazing to be wroth $15.

Personally, I own "From Ashes" and will vehemiently disagree with that statement. Javik is a great addition to the squad and has given me many Lulz.

Bioware has been making 10 dollar DLCs since ME2. Frankly, I don't want 5 hours for 10 dollars.

I want to buy 20 hour expansion packs.

So really, this is the best case scenario. More content, more hours of stuff, more places to travel to, more characters to interact with, more fights and gameplay. I want more of everything and the only way to get more is to pay more.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bioware's 3-5 hour DLCs for 10 dollars, they are good but too short. But I want 10-20 hours and I don't mind paying for it. Bring on the larger DLCs, bring on expansion packs.

1200 is pretty expensive for a DLC. I severely hope there's some depth with the DLC and is as entertaining if not more than the LOTSB or Bring Down the Sky...

If its as bad as Arrival or Project Firewalker was, then I'd rather spend my money elsewhere...

Size, length and thickness has nothing to do with quality. Lol that statement is open to interpretation.

Well what we do know is that they say it's the biggest ME DLC so far, so let's just hold off on criticism until we actually play it, huh?

If you lot don't wanna pay the 1200 BWP, watch the playthrough on Youtube and then decide if it's worth buying or not. Ye ye ye "spoilers, it's gonna ruin it if I watch it on YTB first!!", to which I say it'd be your own fault for NOT buying it when you had the chance. Likewise, if you're not interested in buying it, spoilers will mean nothing to you and you'll be here to **** about it anyway :) Posted Image

well, you have a point with From Ashes, how did saren/geth/you/scientsist/sovereign miss him in ME1, but as for him being against what we know; WE DIDN'T ACTUALLY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE PROTHEANS ASIDE FROM THEM DISAPPEARING MYSTERIOUSLY. also, i disagree with what you said about Aurora; who said thast back then it had ANY importance? it was just to look into myths about the reapers, and from what i can tell, no one knew wtf a reaper was until the end of ME1, and even then most didn't believe it was a 'reaper', just a geth ship

If this is true then it better be one heck of a DLC whit the chance for Renegade Shep to bed Aria. Even Wrex needs to meet her.

anything els is bull****.:?

I love how the people that complain the most , still purchased the dlc's they complain about and played through them. Stop your complaining. ' oh this dlc was crap blah blah blah. The next one better give me cookies or f bioware' Really people. For the most part , you know most of your are going to purchase it. I personally have enjoyed all their releases and they can keep making them and I will keep supporting them. Short or long, I get my enjoyment out of them. They cost no more then your average movie and get my monies worth out of them. If you really hate what Bioware is releasing then leave the boards, leave the community and go somewhere else.
