I was mind match and a friend of mine logged on, so I backed out of the match to see if she wanted to play.

Then for some reason, we both constantly got to the Connecting to EA servers, but no further...

um ?

I don't think you are the only one. As of right now I too am having issues connecting to EA servers as well.
