It occurred to be that in the scenario where Alistair becomes king and the female warden becomes queen, the only heir to the throne is likely to be Morrigan's old god/human child. That's not good.

It also occurs to me that Morrigan might be something very like that herself. She's got those crazy 'not quite human' eyes, and a personality that's not all that human, either. We don't really know what Flemeth is, or what her agenda is. Perhaps she doesn't want Morrigan for herself, but as the next vessel for whatever is residing in her. It might be that Morrigan misunderstood the grimore, assuming she doesn't know what's going on, and is trying to circumvent it. Whatever the case, I have a feeling that Flemeth isn't taking her daughters bodies to keep herself young. There's got to be more to it.
