Did anyone notice something weird about Turian Ghost & Cloak power evolution?

Most of my infiltrators take advantage of the final evolution of TC tree, being able to fire a power without being decloaked.

However, I am having seriously hard time staying cloaked with Ghost infiltrator after firing Overload.

I have not tried it as a host yet, but when I am not host 8 times out of 10... first Overload will decloak my infiltrator regardless of cloak duration.

Did anyone notice this problem yet?

Cloaking & Overload are being use together for the first time... so I am wondering if there is some unknown issue about this.

Do you have Overload specced for Chain? I've heard some other people talking about this, and one theory was that the chains counted as additional powers, so when it chains to an additional target, it registers as the second power use and breaks cloak.

I don't have the Ghost unlocked yet, so I can't test it myself, unfortunately.

Ghost is quite possibly one of my favourites now, and so I play it quite a bit. I haven't noticed any problems with TC.

This is why I don't spec into "Fire power and remain cloaked", but rather I spec into AR damage, since the bonus to AR damage persists for a second or so after decloaking.

Thanks for the reply.

I have it totally set up for chain overload.. the intention was to chain overload the enemy twice then making a precision shot. My other infiltratos shadow & GI have no problem staying cloaked after a power use... but regardless of connection, my ghost have very hard time staying in cloak after overload fire..

Maybe try it without the chain evos, then.  If what others were saying is true, the chains are what is breaking cloak since they count as additional powers.

I have noticed this problem also. If I Cloak then Overload a single target, the cloak remains. If the Overload hits a second target, the Cloak ends. I was hoping to get the extra damage bonus for 2 Overloads in succession, but so far it doesn't work. This sort of defeats the purpose of a chain overload. Might as well not cloak and hit cloak just to shoot enemies. Perhaps its a bug or glitch and will be fixed at some point.

That's interesting. I prefer the damage evolutions for overload anyway.

If taking the AR damage for extra damage for 10 seconds would that effect still be in use if I cloaked and then used overload?

Cloak has a 2.5 second damage window after breaking. That means you still have the 80% damage bonus, despite losing cloak, for 2.5 more seconds. Don't worry too much about it.

The specific AR damage boost lasts for 10 secs after you cloak, no matter what else you do. The damage from cloak lasts for 2.5 secs after you de-cloak for any reason.

No but my jet pack has stopped making sound and it is very odd. Even when I melee there is no a sound

Also i don't think OP cares about the damage effect, he/she complaint is prolly from the fact they want to be able to remain hidden after using overload.  The fact that they could use overload and then fire there weapon to deal extra damage does not fix there problem if there trying to stay hidden
