Deal With A Demon

I would really like to see the player character actually bargain with a demon. It could be a quest. Preferably, a short quest, where the PC promises the demon something - no fetching items or killing enemies. It could have an affect on the player's own game later on. I'm not saying all specialisations should have a quest to earn it - I'm pretty sure there's a thread for that too - I just think we need to see what it means to become a blood mage. With this quest, we could see how blood magic works, and how it connects the blood mages of Thedas to the demons of the Fade. I found the quest: Merrill Friend or Foe to be confusing, because I assumed the demon was inside Merrill, but Marethari merged with it, and apparently it was trapped inside that cave.
This quest would allow us to make up our own minds about blood magic and/or choose how and why our characters chose this path. There are many reasons why the Warden or Hawke might choose to use blood magic: power, sympathy towards demons, to create understanding between demons and mortals, etc.

I prefer long drawn out negotiations, and to write very detailed contracts in all my dealings with demons, so we all can be as clear as possible on the terms...
Hopefully the "contract drafting" skill will make it into Dragon Age 4: Dwarven Senate...

Desire Demon: ".....what?"
Mage Hawke: "VARRIC!! You can come in now!"

That demon already lost the negotiation

I would like to see a kind of quest like you had in NWN series, where you have to save a man who struck a pact with the devil. You can save him by looking through a bargain text and interrogating the devil, finding one little mistake devil made. That was far more interesting than DA2 battle-battle-battle-get reward with primitive 3 options dialogue "quest".

Until that point Blood Magic is just some kind of religious boogeyman, but when you start bargaining the life of Connor everything becomes quite personal. I loved it and I'd love to see something similar in Dragon Age 3 regarding important classes like Blood Mage.

Make a deal with a Demon to become a companion. BSN seems to want everything else, why not that?

I want my mage PC to merge with a powerful demon. It is going to open up a new skill tree, and we get new dialogue options with other demons, and can talk in the head sometimes.
-Why none recognize I am possessed by demon?
-Wait so what glowing and your voice changing stuff not normal for all mages?

It doesn't have to be part of the main story-could be a found object you attain opening the quest/mini quest. The deal though would need to be pretty sweet; a cursed weapon, a revival skill, possession abilities. (I don't ever use blood magic and this still sounds like an interesting plot.)
