Wrong, the game left the cliffhanger the dlc only introduced the eluvian (from Dalish origin) to morrigans "plan" and only raised one new question which is where the heck is the eluvian taking her/us? Other than that the dlc really adds nothing...... i really dont think Bioware is committed to this plot line at all

I never said it answered any questions, I agree, it adds nothing to the game, but adds a lot of questions as to where the story is going...
The DLC IS a cliffhanger, it left us all in suspense over where she has taken us and what the OGB is like... this is the very definition of a cliffhanger...
I think they must have a plan for it, even if it is only a small story... no writter worth his salt would leave this sort of story hanging... they knew before releasing it that we would want to know more about what happened next, and then they threw the Eluvian (a different one) into DA2, which just makes us wonder all that much harder...

Yes, the DLC had a lot of issues. The Companions that disappear 2 seconds into the ending cutscene, the myserious book plot item we're supposed to be chasing disappears from existance, the Varatereal Boss is random and unexplained (Hell, They even point out 'Why the hell is it attacking us?').
But talking about these issues will get us nowhere in this discussion. What's done is done at the moment.
There are a lot of things up in the air at the moment.
Morriagn's Eluvian Portal has to lead somewhere, but where? Logically, if they intend on living on the otherside of the portal, It has to be a place with Food, Water, and Shelter. Or something that can substitute for them (Maybe you don't age past maturity/current age there)?
If she did not intend to live wherever it lead and was trying to retrieve something from the mirror instead, Then we could guess that Morrigan and the child (and the Warden) could be living somewhere in Thedas.
I'm currently leaning towards Morrigan retrieving something from the Mirror and they live somewhere in Thedas due to Alister's refference to the Warden in act 3 of DAII. Doesn't Act 3 take place after Witch Hunt? Teegan spesifically mentions that the Warden is back in Denerim.
So, Possibly the Warden is returning to Denerim to plan for something; either with Alister or the Grey Wardens (They are included by association and their Act 2 scene).

How can Morrigan return?
It would be an extremely complex task, what if you denied her the ritual? what if you killed her? what if you told her to go away? what if you followed her through the eluvian? So many possibilities...
Unless they work very VERY hard on this they cannot do her justice except for a small sidequest...
1. Obviously it'll be a small subquest, that's the problem with save importing that no one who likes it wants to admit
2. She may only show up if you denied her the ritual. If you do that, and didn't romance her, the ending slide for Morrigan says that she (or, I guess "someone that matches her description") ends up in Orlais, advising the Empress
Morrigan would be the worst political advisor. I like her but good god politics and understanding how a country run aren't something I'd trust her with. Unless she's solely advising on magic

I am excited to see how she will be done for this game. I wont lie. I am a little nervous about how her and the warden will be implemented.
We shall see.

My point is that the only question that the dlc raises is where is the eluvian taking them or just morrigan or no one if u killed her, but that leaves us at the same state as before as we didnt know where she was going in the first place.
And honestly I dont think that Bioware or their writers are that concerned with narrative anymore look at all the plot lines ignored in mass effect and dragon age. I just see Bioware using OGB ritual as a means to an end, which is to allow the gamer to have both Alistair/Loghain and their PC to survive. possibly because they suspected that they would release an expansion and they wanted this option to encourage gamers to save their PC so they would purchase the expansion or DLC and import them. This would discourage gamers to sacrifice their PCs because it isn't them or their friend to die. Sleep with an attractive woman and everyone wins (what a world)!!!!! I feel that Bioware would have answered and maybe raised more questions with Witch Hunt if they were commited to the OGB plotline.
