Not only did it boot me out of a game, it made ME3 freeze. Really? It just boots you out like that to force a PW reset?

This just happened to me again. On a Gold extraction wave. What is going on? It boots me off, and forces me to reset my password. I can't even log into BSN until I reset it.
Talking to chat right now.....
**edit** All chat did was send me a password reset email. I'd like to know why my account keeps getting locked out.....
