Sometimes when a volus uses shield boost on me I cannot shoot, melee or use any powers -  I can only dodge and take cover. Im not sure how this glitch happens or what causes it to end but it might be once you take damage you can use your gun and powers again. 

Is this well known or has it happend to anybody else? Its happened 3 or 4 times to me now and just happened to my geth engineer so I came on here to cry. 

A fix would be apprecieted asap.

Hmph. The same thing happened to me, but i thought it was only lag since the game was laggy to begin with. What worked for me was to use heavy melee and after that everything worked fine.

There's another thread on this somewhere, but it appears that sometimes when your shields are boosted (possibly when reloading or doing certain actions like taking cover) then it glitches.

Heavy melee makes it stop for me. It's only happened on Turian Ghost though when i'm playing.

Ah cool I didn't know heavy melee unglitched it, but this still should be fixed along with devastator mode + hurricane bug on tuesday.

I had been playing as a Volus since the DLC came out, so I was hoping that this was just exaggerated. But the other day, while playing as a Havok Soldier I experienced it. By the time I realized what it was, I was dead. Once I was revived I could shoot again.
