This is two instances someone has pointed out a desire for an alternate version of a banner based on gender qualities of the banner.

Cry sexism too much and the word is trivialized. They've got the system right now set up to only deliver one banner per gold challenge. To spend the extra resources to deliver multiple would be a point towards gender neutrality, but the absence of such is not sexism, but is rather a simple business practicality.

Have you seen Council Operative? It has an Asari on it as the banner. Do you see males asking for alternatives like a Turian or Salarian? I myself like the idea of being a 'Council Operative' but I don't start asking for a male alternative to it.

The Biotic God banner  as I stated is more over entertaining purposes, regardless i'd be open to a goddess type of banner. If maleshep is on a banner, so what? I'm sure Bioware simply implemented maleshep because he's always seemed to be a type of original in the ME Universe. This does not mean femshep isn't an original just the male is known a bit more.

If I remeber correctly they additionally made a femshep trailer for their female fans, but it was for all to enjoy of course.

I demand multiple Lone Wolf banners depicting Shepard as Asian, Mexican, Black, ect. because it is racist to not offer alternatives for ME fans that are not White.

It should be a separate achievement. And should also require that the character use multiple colour schemes to unlock the fashion achievement.

A joke and a meme that NOT EVERYBODY find funny, personally I am sick of the Volus lol-crap.

Besides, BW/EA has a reputation for being non-sexist (they made different trailers, put plenty of gay stuff in the games etc...) and I don't see why they shouldn't appease the masses when it comes to banners as well.

I doubt anyone is really turning it down. Just wondering why care so much? Bioware knows there are female gamers playing ME and i'm sure they had reasons to put in this and that.

The options are open of course and it'd be nice to have alternatives for female gamers but what are the odds of changing it now? Why say we worship maleshep? I've tried femshep in SP and I thought she was pretty cool. I'm sure others have tried playing as her too.

I think rewriting the laws of economics is rather beyond Bioware's capabilities. To deliver multiple banners for the same challenge is a waste of resources. To devote extra resources to increase the enjoyment of a small portion of the fanbase by a small amount falls below the game's more serious issues on the priority list.

waste of resources their probalby getting at least a thousand dollars every few days from microtransactions I highly doubt it is a waste of resources

It counteracts the intent of the system. The grind for challenges is there for a reason. Likewise a dramatic increase in credits rewarded would counteract the purpose of the gambling box/story system.

How much does this really affect your enjoyment of the game? This particular banner is a joke banner anyways, and many of them appear to be gender neutral. In order to deliver multiple banners for the same challenge, they would need to change the structure of the delivery system. If they chose to add the banners separately, and chose to make some new banners merely female-gendered versions of pre-existing ones, most people would not bother with an additional grind. So the challenge designed for the banner would go to waste(comparatively speaking) as well.

You girls are all being selfish! I mean what about the rights of mexicans and asians who are being represented by WHITE commander shepards? Seriously have a little compassion and fight for their rights on banners instead of your own!

Also what if I'm an atheist and don't believe in god? This banner is offensive to me because it has god in it. Bioware is offending me by putting it in there and now your asking to have another with goddess? That's mean and very offensive to me.

It is slightly unusual for ME to not sport this given the previous work at inclusion - femshep, same gender relationships etc..

Urm, I'm not one to cry sexism - but it would be nice to have the option - and being familiar with the database / programming behind such things, I don't really think it would be such a major business impracticality (certainly minor compared to implementing the challenges system as a whole).

I saw someone made a suggestion that there could be a community contest for alternative designs too, so that would cut out the design / art dimension.  Not a bad idea if the costs of designing were too high!

Even aside from us female players who would like the option (and the guys who want the choice too), it isn't hard to see that the Asari are quintessentially biotics - which makes the use of Biotic Goddess all the more appropriate in my opinion.

Bioware have done a fabulous job with the dlc, and I've found the challenge system a great way of trying out some new things that I probably wouldn't have bothered with otherwise - so it's been a learning exercise for me...  It would be fab if they could just ice the cake with this change for us
