Yes, do want! And make it a picture of an Asari! Or the statue of Athane or something! =D

Indeed or better yet liara and femshep doing a high five that would be amazing ^_-

A high-five that results in a BE would be pretty nice. And incorporate what the banner is meant for: biotic power use.

Which part do you maintain would not be difficult?

The actual suggestion is rather unclear on this point.

Is it:

A. Delivering multiple banners for the same challenge

or

B. Creating a new challenge with female terminology

Art design probably doesn't factor in too much for costs.

What's the big deal? Women will find anything to complain about nowadays.

No need for new challenges. When choosing your banner for the Challenge a pop-up could be displayed on console or on the N7HQ that has two (or more if BW is feeling generous) banners to choose from. Way more simple than making up new challenges...

This would require changing the delivery method. Ultimately my point here is that Bioware does not make decisions in game designs because its being sexist or racist, but for business reasons. Repeatedly calling them out for being sexist is counterproductive.

And ignoring some of their fanbase--as proven by the need to go back and make an EC DLC and offer it for free--seems to be counterproductive as well.

And limiting choices and not being fair to customers is also counterproductive

Don't even pull that "it's free, be happy" bullcrap with me, I'd pay for the MP dlc if they wanted to charge for it.

Under the current UI I would think an alternative banner would be difficult to implement. Correct me if I'm wrong but do you not select your banner by clicking the completed challenge then clicking "set title"? An alternative would need an extra step added of choosing which version. An easier option would probably be to add a completely new challenge. I'm pretty sure it was stated in the big challenge FAQ thread that new challenges would be added in the future so this is not only possible but going to happen.

An asari themed Biotic Goddess title would be nice but I can accept that they chose to use the Volus meme because, hey, it's comedy. My response was to stop planning how to work towards Biotic God and instead work towards Council Operative. Actually, I'd prefer an asari banner with "By the Goddess" on it to be added when the other two asari are released only requiring the use of asari and their powers (Biotic God/Council Operative cannot be earned by asari use alone).

It's racist to not have human females and only asari.

I'm going to post this with my faulty logic rant held back, for now.

The title is a nod to a fad from mass effect 2, as I'm sure you know.
It's only being sexist because you're making it sexist.

If you want a female gender option, perfectly fine, but don't call BioWare out for ignoring the fanbase for including something most fans can relate to.

Also, in most languages, God is genderless and Goddess tends to be inferior, quite ironic if you ask me.

I didn't say that. I didn't even *imply* it. What I'm saying is be glad they care about this game at all. EA controlled companies are known to abandon ship quickly.

You say you understand that's a meme, but really you don't.
There has been no reference to any "biotic goddesses" -at all- in the mass effect universe; when an asari say "by the goddess", it's in reference to one of their (archaic) religions.

Now the "biotic god" title is a -clear- reference to the ME2 volus, it's not sexism, misogyny, or whatever crap you think it is; it's an homage to a joke and meme.

(Biotic God cannot be earned by asari use alone).

But the Biotic God one can be earned by using only Female characters (Fury, multiple Asari, and Human Females). Thus, further adding to my reasons of wanting an OPTION to have a Biotic GODDESS banner.

Also, have you considered the effort BW would have to put in?
You expect them to pay 5 figures to patch in Banners because you wan't something genderless to become feminine?

I want a Biotic Hulk banner now.

Council Operative banner is an Asari (read: female): not sexism.

Biotic God banner is a male Volus: sexism.

I honestly try, but sometimes BSN logic eludes me.

Yes. I do. I played ME2. I saw the hilarious little volus high off his ass on red sand and proclaiming his weak self to be a BIOTIC GOOOOD!!

End of discussion on the meme/joke. Really.

How so? Not requiring the use of a male character and then getting a banner about being a God is poor reasoning? Yeah... Sure...

It's referencing a meme not a sex/gender!

A Biotic "Goddess" banner makes no sense.
