Trivial issue is trivial. "God" can sometimes be gender neutral. It's rather annoying to need a feminine specification for a normally general word.

When has god ever been a nuetral word it has always been described as man or he that made things come to be their is nothing gender nuetral about it

This reinforces my belief that the banners should be made separable from the titles.

Asari commando in a bikini would be better.

Maybe they should have named it, "Biotic Goodness." Problem solved! WITH a Fury, though.

Loses something without the ME2 meme.

I've explained this before. That it says "god" instead of "goddess" is irrelevant and is only tied to the sex of the volus from the joke. The sex doesn't matter, the fact that he was a short, pudgy and high on drugs volus is the joke. "God" instead of "goddess" is just there for grammar.

WITH a Fury, though.

A Kit that exists to allow Non-Adept-Players to play an adept (same goes for the other N7-Kits and their respective classes) should be the one on the biotic mastery banner?

No, at least not the only one beside the volus-version.
It whould be perfect if it shows the biotic Kit (Adepts, Vanguards and Sentinels except those that do not possess any of the biotic mastery powers) mostly/last selected by the player.

Really kind of hate all the women that are demanding female characters and or female everything.

The backlash that women gave the screenshot for Leviathan because it was (at first) Male Shepard was so ridiculous. I personally wouldn't care if it was FemShep instead of Male Shepard, but then again I don't make a big deal about sexes.

Ya know, I kinda understand why some guys don't care about this issue - after all, and for obvious reasons, it has predominantly been championed by female players - but I find your post really encapsulates the reasons that I struggle to get the extremely hostile reaction that some men have when female players make a perfectly simple, and innocuous suggestion.

Hate?!  Really?!  I mean, what is it that scares you so much about women asking for changes which they perceive as being needed?   The issue seems very straightforward - for a player like me, who has unlocked three banners, but feels alienated by the Lone Wolf and Biotic God banners, and has to resort to using a third one, there would be a marked improvement to feeling proud to display either of the two contentious banners. That is the nature of the request, and unless you want to deny me the right to feel the way I do, then it seems a very reasonable suggestion.  I'm obviously not alone in feeling this way - there's been a demonstrable support by a number of others who feel the same way (in addition to those, some of them guys, who've posted to support the idea for other reasons).

So, I'm uncomfortable with those people who turn out to tell me that I'm wrong about my feelings.  If you don't care for a female version of something, then maybe you could just enjoy using the existing male one?

To me, personally, it's not much about the gender, as it is about the representative of the biotic banner. A Volus, really? Maybe if it had Jack or Samara or Benezia, but a Volus?

In my opinion, it does not correspond with the awesomeness that are biotic powers.

I can understand the concept of wanting a Banner pertaining to a female version but just as others have said, it's something to be comedic. Something to remember in ME2. I wouldn't care regardless if they instead had it saying Biotic Goddess with an Asari.

It's not that I think what you ask is wrong, it's just simply not needed. Another version of Biotic God w/ Goddess would be fine, but there's no telling if Bioware would do that. The Coucil Operative banner for ex. I want. I don't really care if it has an Asari, it could've been a Turian and I still wouldn't care.

My point is I can kinda understand the Mass Effect final banner only having maleshep since female players may have wanted femshep instead but this Biotic God/Goddess thing is unecessary. Others also have stated that God can be genderless (based on your religion) and the point of this shouldn't be debated so hotly. It's a banner made for entertainment as i've stated and Bioware meant no offense to female players in this action i'm sure.

"God" is a gender-neutral word.
So is "tiger".
So is "vampire".
So is "lion".
So is "duke".
So is "actor".
So is "king".

You don't need "-ess" at the end of a word to make it feminine.

Going from gender-neutral to female-specific, "duke" becomes "duchess" and "actor" becomes "actress". "King" does not transform in this way, but I included it anyway because even the most "masculine" word that I could think of that changes with gender (into "queen") isn't male-specific at all.

Unless English is just being stupid again(in which case I'm going French or something), king is specific to men, which would that not make a male-specific word?

We don't call a woman a king because king means it's a male. We call her a queen.

True "God" is not male nor female. Christians like to think that a perfect being is male, but "perfection" should not include gender, since that in and of itself is a flaw. Therefore, Biotic God is fine. Just leave it.

Also, it's a funny meme.
