Just wondering your fav party group Armor gear and Weapon along with the rune slot hehe as for mine are :
at lvl 20
ME=Arcane Warior+spirit healer
Armor - Wade superior Dragonplate Armor
Weapon - Spellweaver (spell resist runes)
Shield - redcliff shield...i know its lame..hehehe
focus spell on CC=mass paralysis,sleep,Glyphs,bombs,Heal,Group Heal,Revival,Lifeward (since i dont use
mori and wynee
Ogren=2h Weapon spec
Armor - Legion Armor
Weapon - Starfang (physical resist runes)
Alistair=Templar+Champion
Armor - Juggernaut
Weapon - Asturian Might (trying to get keening blade tho)
Shield - Duncan shield
Zevran=Dual Wield Weapon-Assasin and duelist
Armor - Warden commander set
Weapon - imperial edge + the rose thorn
as for zevran i had to buy attributes books just to justify his const since i max 42 str just to equip him Warden armor set..lol..dumb choices i know...i know...
this is my 2nd play through and i just love seeing Heavy Armor Squad hehe..and if i dont want any tank i simply replace Ali with Sten with exchange of Juggernaut Armor but weapon using Chasind Great Maul

Probably my two favorite armor parties were:
PC: Cousland Warrior/Templar/Champion with Black Templar Armor, family sword, and Cousland Shield upgraded to Silverate late-game using the Winter Forge
Alister (DW respec): Warrior/Templar/Champion with Templar Armor, axe and mace.
Sten (DW respec): Warrior/Templar/Champion with Templar Armor (replicated using the Winter Forge), sword and axe
Oghren (sns respec): Warrior/Berserker/Champion with Legion Armor, Shield, and Aodh.
Leliana: Wade's Improved Drakeskin armor, Marjolaine's recurve
Played that whole game with those characters. Being hard core templars the mages didn't last long, and Zevran got his throat cut after being questioned about the Crows.
Current playthrough:
PC: Dalish Rogue/Ranger, alternates between Dalish Armor and the Ancient Elven Armor (for big engagements). Uses the Mage bow, or the Green sword/ enchanted Dar'misu combo.
Alister (DW respec): Warrior/Templar/Champion: Varathorn's silverite scale armor, silverite boots/gloves, axe and mace.
Elven Leliana (mod): Rogue/Assassin: Chasind Robes or Wade's Drakeskin for big engagements, bow or twin enchanted Dar'misus.
Sten: Warrior, uses medium chainmail (upgraded as the game progresses). Various greatswords as the game progresses
Oghren (DW respec): Warrior/Berserker: red steel dwarven medium armor, axe (Aodh) and mace.
Morrigan is same-o sam-o, but specializes in cold/ice, and the rest of the party accomodates with weapons/balms, etc.
Wynne has not yet joined this group.
Zevran died in his assassination attempt. Poor bastard has only lived once in five playthroughs. I don't like assassins overmuch.
Note: In the current playthrough, every character except Dog and Morrigan are melee archers at the very least, with Leliana specializing in archery and the PC being quite skilled. Everyone uses the best bow their attributes will allow. The worst bow in the party at present is a straight whitewood longbow.
