As for the thread, I think turians females should get a helmet because they are ugly as hell, though not as bad as what a batarian female might look like.

Female Quarian Sentinel as the invincible priming partner to the Kroguard's invincible detonator? I'd play the hell out of that.

Only note for the Turian Soldier is I'd skip Omni-Shield as a power and just go for straight up Shield Mastery (and Turian Female as a passive power? What, they can't be veterans? These are badass fighting women). Gives more room for cool combat powers on the class, and gives her one of the BEST fitness powers in the game.

...I do agree with Cyonan that we already have enough soldiers.. so let's take the slot left open by turning Omni-Shield into Shield Mastery, and give her Warp. This way, she can debuff with Warp, and either duck behind her shield to let the DOT do its work, or use it as a debuff before firing off the Velocity Cannon. This way, we'd have a nice bulky Vanguard who's similar to the N7 Paladin.

Turian Female Infiltrator sounds good. I wouldn't change Snap Freeze any, actually, since it would already pair with Cloak for a huge debuff+damage spike. Would she have the Ghost's version of Tactical Cloak, or the standard version?

Females? Sure. Female Turians? Eh... no. Why not? Because they're almost literally just male Turians without a crest. They sound the same as a male, and look the same as a male... except they don't have something jutting out of their head. It's the same issue why I'm against Protheans, as it's a skin you can lay over any character, and not even tell the difference, unless they had some elite special forces team whose unique gameplay mechanic is phasing between our reality and some other dimension at will. I prefer a unique take on the game over "look at me! I'm almost just like all the other Adepts, except I died 50K years ago!" any day.

If anyone is familiar with the Sonic fanbase, I can back up my claims with the existence of the "original character design" vs. "recolor" debate. Let's say I'm making a Sonic fan-game featuring the loads and loads of characters in the series, as well as some characters of my own creation. Now I'm gonna take Sonic, color him red, and name him Flamer. Does that seem like a valuable use of a spot in the character roster at all? The only way I could possibly justify it, is by making him play COMPLETELY different from Sonic, but I'd still have people saying "I like playing as Flamer because he's unique, but I wish he didn't look so much like Sonic." The only way to really satisfy people is to make him look unique AND play unique, not just one or the other. To further back this claim up, look at the reactions to the Retaliation DLC characters. It doesn't matter that we're finally getting a Drell Infiltrator, because it looks exactly the same as the Drell we already have. I mean, it's not that big of a deal, but I'd prefer he got his own unique armor! ... which is exactly what I'm talking about.

tl;dr: I won't accept simple face-lifts if it gets in the way of unique, ground-breaking content like the Earth DLC or the jetpack Turians. If it doesn't? Fine then, doesn't matter to me any.

Let's not get this thread locked due to people angering Raven. I like this idea, the female soldier reminds me of a Guardian concept that had a shoulder cannon instead of a Talon. A continuous snap freeze power sounds badass, and marksman would be amazing with tac cloak.

Then there's the curious absence of a woman like Jack from Single Player. A woman that shouts "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!!" then blasts the enemy as opposed to having all the largely prim, proper and professional scripted females.
You remember Jack? The real Fury of Mass Effect?

It would not hurt to have a female that's dedicated to gunslinging as well as anyone else, as opposed to relying more on throwing things at enemies.

Don't see how it's really important or necessary. Characters are characters. SP complaints would be valid, MP isn't so. I for one wouldn't care if we had more females than males right now. Some people are too fussy and fickle, honestly. Some people also always look for (not that relevant) flaws and have the unnecessary desire to complain about them. If more get added, woopee(?), if more don't, woopee(?)  makes no difference. Now different player models and armours, that's actually important in my eyes.  Probably going to get verbally 'attacked' now.

Eh. I don't think we need an all female DLC, I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I don't think it's strictly necessary or that there is a insufficient amount of female characters to begin with.

But if did happen.. Female Turians = Moar Turians to play with. I won't say no to more Turians!
