There should be no such thing as a ''tanky'' Quarian. Not exactly built for front line combat.
Quarians are arguably some of the best suit makers, and most tech savvy race in the galaxy, too. Given the resources they could prolly make tanky suits.
Don't get me wrong, peopel shouldn't be plodding around with high shield numbers naturally, but there can be some.
Also Quarians are tougher physically even with the weak immune system. Somewhere between Asari/Human and Batarian/Krogan, according to lore.
Grunt mentions it in Mass Effect 2.

At this point in time it's irrelevant now. I can understand bringing in an all-female dlc due to having a 'supposedly' all-male dlc (Rebellion) but time has passed since then. The reason I say supposedly is due to Vorcha being an unknown gender reasonably. We haven't seen any female Vorcha so as far as we know, we can imply there may be female Vorcha consisting in their ranks.Rebel_Raven wrote...

I'm fine with more dlc with females and if they ever did make an all-female dlc, fine with me.
I didn't say all male. A fellow board member helped me get over saying that.
I said 0 female.
And if you can't count the vorcha as male, you can't count them as female on that same token.
It's also never irrelevant. Especially since my math kinda pointed out that this DLC is made up of 3, including another 0 female DLC. It's quite the bias towards non-female characters to say the least.

I think that's the one with the HUD on her face plate?
Or is it the uber armored one?
Either way, I'd like to have seen a Tali DLC outfit in MP.

I do remember him saying they are harder to kill than most, but if you talked to Kal'Reegar he points out that his race would get slaughtered on ground/front-lines. Not really from say, a 'direct assault' but they can die due to sickness.Cyonan wrote...

I didn't say they aren't counted as male, I simply implied that since we have never seen a female Vorcha, there's no telling if they sound/look the same as males. We have to remember they don't revolve around human ideals.Rebel_Raven wrote...

In a sense it is. We currently now have 14 female characters. All that are good in battle, some in CQ. I'm not entirely sure how many females are in this dlc, but we got females nonetheless. I'm simply saying (to stay on topic) there is no need for an all-female dlc.

Human Female/Male, quarian female/male... and well, that's it for the species with both sexes represented.
There's a few exceptions like Earth, and the Phoenix units, but that's it, really.
And yes, we have 14 characters, but they tend to be glass cannons, rely on throwing things at enemies, or both as opposed to having a powerful weapon synergy, nevermind one that borderline breaks some guns.
Some more variety from this, and more variety in personality would be appreciated.
I'm interested in an all female DLC. I think it would be an interesting social experiment for the board. That and an all female DLC would be awesome!

That was not nice and definitely not necessary.
Perhaps if your gender had spend centuries being oppressed, paid less, considered "property," had no rights within a marriage, used as cannon fodder in wars, raped by soldiers and militants because it was these men's "right" to do so as part of the spoils of war, then you might understand exactly WHY it is important to most women that there is some equality in most areas of our lives. Until you have experienced that, you have no right to insult anybody because of their gender.
Reported.
Not to undermine your point any, but... have you experienced any of that?
Sounds kinda like modern problems to me, duder. As ugly as a truth as that is.
Its the reverse in the US. Women with the same work experience/qualifications in the same fields earn slightly more than males. Nonadjusted for professions/work experience it appears that men earn more, something that our feminists make use of to push laws that encourage higher wages for women(probably what explains this discrepency in wages). Reverse-sexism or reverse-racism(which shouldn't actually need a reverse qualifier) is plenty common in Western civilization that it makes me wonder whether people are completely missing the point when it comes to a color/gender-blind society.
Also lol at the implication that discrimination against oneself allows one to fairly insult an entire gender. Probably not intended in there, but humorous nonetheless.
So everyone is just going to ignore this?
Also to add on, if employers could get away with paying women less for the same work, why would they hire men?
This is the U.S. we're talking about; the country were empoyers will ship the business to starving Asian children and illegal immigrant just to save so money.
Men and women are both victoms of gender roles to a significant degree. The only thing now is that women are recieving help, but men are not. For example, it's totally cool now for women to walk around "masculine" clothing, but there are many places in the U.S. where a man would be ridiculed or even assulted for dressing in "feminine" clothing.
Slavery has little to do with gender in most cases; it depends on what type of social stratification a society has. It's usually a persons ethnicity and religion that determine whether of not they'll be a slave. The majority of people who've been treated as property were men. Men were captured at war were often made into slaves by the enemy country. Yes, women were slaves too, but there were often given less grueling tasks.

Female Krogans can fight but they won't. Female Turians i could see but i doubt it because if they added them in people would wonder why they were not fighting on the moon to protect their own planet. so Quarians and Asari it is and Asari have to have female organs or Else Liara and Shepard would be awkwardInabstract wrote...
