I apologise if this is the wrong forum and a dumb question to boot, but: does anyone know if there are any merchants who sell large quantities of elfroot? Zevran's been guzzling the health poultices like crazy and Wynne can't heal us all in battle...

Brecilian Forest! The merchant there has an unlimited amount of Elfroot.
You can also find Elfroot in the Dalish camp itself.

The elf's in the forest. i think i screwed my self on my first game i choose to side with the werewolf's
 and kill the elf's. Just if you do stock up on elfroot before you DO  : )

Brownstudies thats exacly where i was on my first game . i was screwed . to finish that game in going to have to use a mod i think to get some elfroot. But its better then wasting 100+ hours on a game .

MOTpoetryION, that sucks, I hope you find a mod! In my first playthrough I was a complete hardass and wouldn't let my party have health poultices unless they were on their very last legs and I actually NEEDED them to finish the fight.. and as a result, ran out of injury kits. Maybe on my third playthrough I'll strike a balance!

Health Poultices: side with the elves and buy elfroot from the vendor at the Brecilian forest.

Lyrium Potions: Vendor in circle tower sells unlimited lyrium dust.

Injury Kits: Vendor in Deep Roads > Ruck's Cave sells unlimited deep mushrooms.

Buy your flasks at the Gnawed Noble tavern in Denerim from the bartender (cheapest price, unlimited).

Don't ever make anything other than the lesser variants; they're the most cost-effective.

shaktiboy: Nah, also make normal ones, so that you can have another one immediately afterwards. Otherwise the cooldown might kill you in some occasions.
