Is the Scion's gun the most powerful enemy gun?

Even my mighty Kroguard was getting his shield gate hit in one shot on Gold. Is there any enemy that has a weapon that fires a more powerful bullet? Geth Prime shots, Atlas shots, Phantom hand blasters, Cerberus/Geth Turrets, Dragoon gold whips (lash/smash or something?), Geth Pyros, Ravager artillery fire, Brute b*tch slaps, and even that one beetle Praetorian thingy's guns don't take down my Kroguard's shields in one shot.
A salvo from a Scion can kill much faster than any other enemy gun, I think. Or am I just imagining it?

They blast through my Paladin's 5K point shield in seconds.

Personally I think they should be tuned down to Geth Prime or Ravager levels as it's a bit absurd how powerful scions are atm when you take into account their cannon, health, sync kill and cluster grenades when possessed.

We're talking about the same scions right?WestLakeDragon wrote...
The balance point to Scions is they don't absorb much punishment. If you can get in close (not too close, they DO have a rare instant kill), just punch some Piranha or Reegar in it's face(s?) and it'll drop pretty quick.

that's not neccessary...the thing is slow...just stand behind cover or move around it and shoot it....especially shoot the humps on its back, cause once they explode, it takes more damage; kinda like a ravanger

it's up there....along with the prime's gun, rocket trooper's rockets, phantom's palm cannon, and turrets
I think Scion`s gun is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay up there compared to everything else you mentioned.

For reference, base damage(before difficulty modifiers) of the Scion is 800.
The Phantom is 250, the Ravager is 400, and the Nemesis(previous hardest hitting per shot) is 700.

It definitely is, 3 shots would down a full barriered Kroguard on Bronze, unless you add a cyclonic mod then you'll be left with that last sliver of health.
Krogan with cyclonic IV (easily over 3200 shields) gets dropped in 3 hits on gold too. Which is officially stupid. WHats the point in having 40% DR, and 3k shields if they don't mean anything? I feel as flimsy as a geth engineer does if one of their silent cannon blasts strikes me when I don't know its coming.

reason i think they are on the same level is cause they all have pros/cons, but they all do roughly the same amount of damage...

Its not entirely silent, I've heard what sounds like a quieter version of the Acolyte firing sound just before getting hit, that was when it was me attempting a solo on Bronze so I know it couldnt have been a team mate firing one that I'd heard.
But you're right, they do way to damage.

Then you've been lucky enough to always see them in the distance. They snipe like Geth Prime. Their three shot burst fires faster than a Prime's. It travels faster across the screen than an Atlas rocket or a Banshee Warp, so there isn't as much time to dodge the next two shots after the first one hits.
That said, I've found the hump on their back can actually be targetted by powers... I overloaded the hump more than a few times last night.

My guess is some other poor teammates had to deal with Scion because somebody was avoiding it.
