the thread asks if you support protheans or not. I didnt use the word believe the way you think I did. Those who are against protheans usually feel it violates lore. I understand the reasons you want them but you should respect why are others may not.

Sure, why not. Preferably in the context of a single players dlc as well, one that justifies the re-emergence of the Protheans.  We have found more than one cache of protheans so far.  It isn't unimaginable that there would be more.  I understand the criticism that it would impact Javik as a character, but I always felt his identity was more tied up in the aspect of his people of which he is the avatar, Vengeance.

The lore has already been broken and raped several times already in MP. Breaking it again wouldn't hurt at this stage.

However,I'd like implementing Protheans to be delayed in favor of seeing more fitting characters make it into the MP first... like more Salarians, Vorcha, Ex-Cerberus, Drell and a damn Geth Prime( A whole bloody platoon was in the war asset in SP where did they go?).


Btw why not make an actual poll and save yourself and us the agony of counting?

Only in multiplayer I love lore in singleplayer but there is no place in multiplayer for it

Bioware said that multiplayer conformed to lore.

Your point is invalid.

Unless there is a SP DLC, the answer cannot be yes, any prothean requests must be denied, and squashed with utmost haste.

Until, there is a SP DLC to provide justification for putting in Protheans, then Protheans will not be in multiplayer.

I am not for or against Protheans.

SP is the core game. MP is a mere add-on, slave to the SP. It influences your GR in SP. I could care less if it were there or not, actually. If BioWare says it's tied to the story and the lore, then it should fly in formation. Nothing they've done so far in MP has been lore-breaking. Volus ground troops are not beyond the realm of belief; it's not their specialty, but that doesn't mean anything in an all-out galactic war where everything is at stake.

If they go back on their own lore so blatantly and include more Protheans, it will not only stretch the lore paper-thin at best, it will cheapen the race and their importance as a whole. It would be an arbitrary move, even in SP. Let it rest.

This is one of the many reasons I personally think adding MP was a bad move. Just because it could be done doesn't mean it should.

Forget lore, it shouldn't matter at all in multiplayer. You don't play multiplayer for the story, that's what singleplayer's for. Yeah yeah I know they have a connection to each other, but honestly, does it matter? In platinum you got four factions working together. I'm pretty sure Cerberus wouldn't be working with the Reapers, since they attacked their base near the end of the campaign. And why are geth an enemy faction? You either help them and turn them against the Reapers or destroy all of them.

Damn yes. Lore: Javik Clones. The Allies would be dumb not to.
**** SP and the Lore. EAWare has already ruined it anyways, so why not at least continue making MP cooler. (the only thing I still like from the whole game.)

ok so salarian stg replicates and makes protheans, these new forces are required to be sent to the fron lines and stg units previously occupied join the fight. new salarian stg engineer, infiltrator, and sentinel with prothean adept, vanguard, and soldier. protheans are UR stg is R
