The company is tainted now, even with new staff, you have to wonder before you pick up a title. Basically I don't want my money making it into Casey or Macs pocket. I would not purchase a product with their name on it and to purchase Bioware again in general would require the company apologizing to the fans, making vast and different endings (EC is crap) and the removal of Casey Hudson and Whacky Mac from game design. I dont want them to lose their jobs entirely, but put them in some job they can handle. Secretary, janitor, gopher or something non-stressful with no real power would work.

I believe the lead writer for ME1 and ME2 was David Karpyshyn but then he left part way though ME3 to work on The Old Republic.
He didn't leave he was given an order I bet.
The makeing of SWTOR goofed up DA2 and ME3 in Dev. time and money, so lets hope ME4 and DA3 is gonna be those 10/10 games Bioware used to make.

Walters on the other hand did upset me but I will say when he took over ME3 he had big shoes to fill. I'm willing to give him another chance since I didn't hate what he did but it wasn't as good as what Drew could do

That's exactly how I feel about Shepard's story, which is why I want a brand new main character.VarrenSoldier wrote...
If it's a reboot, I'll CONSIDER buying it. If it's a continuation....A big no. Shepard's story's been FUBAR.

But then it doesn't really matter as they've already lost my custom and I wouldn't be buying it anyway.

For me to ever pre-order another Bioware game will require a lot of obvious love and effort put into the title before I'd ever consider it though.
They will get bonus points if their current "If you don't like it you don't know what you are talking about" attitude disappears as well.

They never lost me as a true fan so l'm still in the "If it's a Bioware game it will be good" camp.Machines Are Us wrote...
Trust them? No, but like Dragon Age 3 I will simply not make the assumption that "It's a Bioware game, of course it will be good" like I used to. If the game looks solid, and if it's getting praise from people who aren't the same kind who gave DA2 and ME3 10/10, then I will probably check it out.

Well, thereotically, ME4 would be the beginning of a story, and they're excellent at beginning stories. Now, when said game is about to end... well...
Yeah, I'd give them another shot. I mean, they did bring us the first two games. I think they deserve another shot.
Don't be such an idealist.
Yes, they did give us ME 1 and 2, but they also did so with Drew on the team.
