I met them at Comic Con and they are cool and friendly.
I know I met Mac Walters, forgot who the other guy were and Kimberly Brooks. I hope Mass Effect 4 is a Sequel and if it called Mass Effect 4 it is a Sequel. I hope we get to play any species, any gender too. It wouldn't feel the same playing another human that not Shepard like Halo and other games it always the same characters.

I trust Casey, but Mac I'm a little unsure about.
On one hand, Casey has done a terrific job with all three games (minus the original ending to ME3) and I rather he continue to work on the series. Mac on the other hand I haven't even heard of before ME3, and the original endings have left me with a bad impression of his writing. But since I haven't read or watch anything else done by him I can't really make a fair assumption of his work.
So I won't care if he returns nor will I cry if he leaves.

I would. ME3 had a great story overall, and I think they know now how not to ****** off fans

It'll be the saving throw or the final nail in both ME, BW's and my heart. I'm hoping it's a saving throw. ME and BW would be shame if it was a nail, but I'm kinda more attached to my heart.

No. When you fail to realize that most of your fans wanted a happy ending...
Do I even need to finish that sentence? I don't think so...

Currently whether I'd be interested in any future ME games is dependent on whether Walters is in control of the main plot again.
I don't want Mr. "speculations" ruining the setting further.

Casey?
Yeah, I'll give him one more chance.
Walters?
No, not because I hate him, but he is not very good when it's about big, long (and hard, lolololol) stories.

I would prefer if it was co-directed by Casey and someone else and Patrick Weekes as lead writer.

I will trust Super MAC with one thing and one thing only, and that is the 5325 megaton-potent ferrous destruction of Covenant Supercarriers.
Casey just needs to cut down on the lies and unwillingness to accept peer-reviews on his ideas and I'm fine with him continuing to captain the Mass Effect vessel.

We wouldn't have Mass Effect without Casey, so yes, I trust him 100%
Regarding Mac Walters, well, I don't doubt his talent and I immensely enjoyed his rendition of Garrus as a character but I felt the plot of ME3 wasn't all that good overall, so, while it wouldn't put me off maybe someone else should step up as lead writer.

There shouldn't be a Mass effect 4, making another game would just turn the whole series into a franchise zombie.
My answer. No, not just no but hell no.
They lied to the consumer and they destroyed the semi-realistic tone that the original Mass Effect set up.

I'm would not be immediately against Casey Hudson returning as project director because he has done good work in the past. Mac Walters, if what I hear is true, did some really good character writing so I'm not against any involvement on his part, but I do not want him in or even near the lead writing position. I'll be skeptical and cautious no matter what they do or say though.

Mass effect was semi realistic? Really Darklight? Hey I love ME as much as the next fan, but semi realistic is not what I would call mass effect. Just because they have quasi scientific explanations for stuff doesn't make it realistic.
Even ME1 wasn't remotely semi realistic, it was pure sci fi. Granted the realistic tone can vary from person to person, but it was FIRMLY in fiction as far as I'm concerned.
But i'd love to see an ME4, I'm always said the universe in the game is large enough to support more games, heck if the trilogy of star wars can keep going strong after 30 years off of 3 sketchy movies, ME can do the same by golly!

I think there should be a new lead writer to bring fresh idea's. Realistically it needs to start now for story DLC. Everything that is written locks the future writer into a direction. Who is writing the Omega DLC?

Casey - No. He seems to have forgotten that mass effect is about story first and foremost, then combat.
Mac - No. He needs to step back and start small. He's proven he just can't handle a AAA title like ME.
All in all, I'm very hopeful because if Me4 is a bust... I'd say some thorough performance evaluations will most likely be in order.
