I remember Dao had this feature. In Dragon age 2 it was always frustrating playing a rogue profecient in daggers and bows. No smooth switching:(

yeap
what is worse is that in DA:0 you could have talents in two types of weapon which is not the case in DA:2 (Though technically you can spend point in S&B and TWH when you are a warrior.)

I agree. If we want to gimp our characters, let us.

I support being able to switch weapons.

I wish this to return as well. In Origins my warrior was proficient in Two-Handed and Sword and Shield combat. When fighting stronger enemies like a dragon to get that little bit of health down i'd switch to my Two-Handed weapon. Once they were weakened a bit switch to Sword and Shield.

Yes please
!
Being able to switch weapons can make a ranged fighter of a close combat rogue or vice versa. For a mage it's possible to fight enemies with high magic tolerance if able to equip a 'normal' weapon (preferably bow for me).

it was good in DAO
in DA2 it would ruin the flow of combat
bring it back for it was a convenient feature

Yes, bring back quick switching between two weapon sets. This was very useful.

It was also good if a weapon of the same type (ex S&S or TH) was good for fighting different enemies, such as human enemies or demons, and the other was better for fighting the other.

I always like switching between 1 handed and 2 handed weapons on the fly with my warrior. Planning on doing another Origins playthrough but I want to do a Rogue with dual swords and second weapon set would be a bow. I like switching between different weapons sets. Adds more spice to combat. Bring it back to DA3 please. If anyone at Bioware is reading this please bring it back.

Yeah - the weapon switching was great.
Especially because I'm such a weapon hoarder.
