1. Nobody is posting in the german forums.
2. CE was only available in german at release date.

Still, i am super pissed about the shop. It totally kills my motivation even more than the fact that i cant beat UUP anymore. If its challenging, i want rewards. Otherwise i wont play stuff. This is true for 90% of any playerbase.
I surely get over it, but its horrible.
(Disclaimer: of course this game is fun to me, (otherwise i wont even play it), but collecting stuff is making up like 50% of it. The shear "complexity" doesnt keep me playing i am afraid)

If there will be multiple threads popping up about how rare weapon mods are the new Earth rare gears in the next couple of weaks, think about me. Also if Bioware will silently tinker with drop rates as they did with Earth gear.

Not that it is any more or less complex, but if your only motivation is the grind and not the gameplay, then you should seek entertainment elsewhere.

I bought some bioware points to buy a few PSP's when the new DLC dropped for the same reason I donate to XDA dev when they make cool stuff I use, because I want them to continue. But when I started to get few PSP with level IV ammo/armor only, I decided to just get Leviathan instead.

At least I get something out of it, even though I probably won't play it for a while. Not until I can scrub starchild and synthesis out of my head, god I hate synthesis.

Good point. I will look into that. However, to be very precise, i wanted to buy an 18-rated (uncut) CE, and if i remember correctly, the only version amazon offered as a preorder was german (or to be super precise austrian PEGI 18). There was much drama about that in the german amazon forum. With the preorder you got some of the promotional extra stuff i wanted to have. AFAIK there is no ingame option to change the language.
But i will look into changing my region in origin. The german dub is not that bad, but OVs usually have better atmosphere.

On PC you can select english texts and speech, even in the german version.
The german translation is horrible in some parts of the game. I remember a conversation with Ashley I had to retranslate to english to be able to understand her. First I thought it's just Ashley's logic or so, but it was just translated inaccurately.

Guh, I had changed the game's language from German to English back when I first had the conversation between Saren and Nihlus. That already was horribly. Never even touched a German version of the games afterwards.

I still remember how I was close to a seizure when I first saw the Sovereign reveal in German on Youtube. What a polite Reaper, using the courteous "you" in German. And the voice acting *shudders* ... abysmal. Straight to hell abysmal.

I did my first play-through of all three parts in german. Some dialogues seemed just a bit awkward to me.
Then I saw some fan-made trailers on youtube and decided to do my next play-through in english, and never looked back. The quality is so much better.
That's one way to increase the replay-value of a game, I think.

Dunno if they adjusted the drop rates but last 30 PSPs I've gotten more UR's then anything before. I finaly got all the weapons and I even got 2 Typhoons which was the only weapon I didn't have before the Retaliation.
