So I decided to make a new that was actually me and for the first time(after 101 hours) I picked a character voice. I started playing and I was just crushed by the following awful lines: "Can I give you a ladder so you can get off my back." and the whiny "Okey, okey."
I was like WTF? These lines break the immersion completely! Bioware patch them out, please. I beg you!
I deleted the character and made the same one but with the default voice which is too low for my liking. My main hero was a female with the defaul voice. Imagine the horror when I make a female mage to play the origin story and I picked a new voice too. LOL!

I don't know who thought that these line would be funny, but they are NOT! They break the immersion completely.

No need to delete the the character to change the voice, unless you're playing something other than PC version. Using a toolset you can change the character's voice in a saved game, in fact you can give her/him any voice you want regardless of gender or race.I find the dwarven female voices the best, but the "wise" voices for human and elven females are also alright, everything else just sounds too whiny or annoying to me.
