I'm currently beta-testing my bilingual mod. Testing of the english language pack is almost complete, now I have to test the german language pack. Thus, I want a parallel installation of NWN2, this time with german language settings.

Does this also work for two different languages, or is the language stored in a registry key? If so, does anyone know the key?
I don't think I have to switch between the two languages very often, so renaming a directory and changing a registry key would be okay for me. However, I hope that I do not have to remove and reinstall the whole game (including the patches) every time I want to switch the language.
Btw., if it is of interest, I have the CD version of the game, and my OS is WinXP.

Have you tried the -home switch? I'm not sure it would allow different languages, but worth a shot.

I finally had the time to test my parallel installation. So here is what I did:
- Rename original nwn2 folder
- Use setup.exe from CD. CD ask whether you want to uninstall, confirm with OK.
- Use setup.exe from CD. This time, NWN2 is installed
- Apply all patches
Now, all I have to do is renaming my folders before launching the game, and I get the language version I want.
