Most of the lobbies I enter aways have the hosts choosing unknown enemy. They need to stop! Don't these people realize that by choosing unknown, there is an chance to drop us into an nightmare of stunlock and airstrikes?

I prefer U/U/G. If I play Platinum I would me choosy about what faction I would like in the mix- but otherwise I like to roll the dice.

Honestly, I got lone wolf yesterday on gold by fighting geth, took me only about 28 minutes for both gold solos each against them. Reapers I had to constantly run them around because magnet hands.

And in fact, I'd say magnet hands are worse now. I keep getting grabbed MID BIOTIC CHARGE.

One game I played my kroguard, the other was my fury. And honestly, It wasn't too bad, the amount of geth primes has been reduced greatly because of the bombers. As much as I hate them, they are a breeze to take down.

Right now I'd say the worst is the collectors, because scions. But I don't mind the challenge

The funny thing is I played about 8-9 U/U/G games in the same lobby without getting the Geth once, I actually started hoping that they would pop up

I do not prefer Geth but they're still beatable. You just have to be at the top of your game if it presents a huge challenge for you. You MUST be about team spirit if you want to get through a match on Gold and you're an intermediate player. Oh- and bring your damned gear people! If it isn't Bronze there's no excuse.

I can deal with all Geth BS and take it in stride... but the GOD D*** MOTHER F****** Drone and his Incinerate Ball/Stagger of Doom make me want to throw the controller...

I'm fine with the Bombers... except for the fact that they can't be staggered at all. How stupid is it that Krogan Charge staggers every enemy in the game... except the stupid Bomber that is the size of a watermelon...

I personally find sync kills easier to deal with then stagger. To me, the ridiculous number of rockets, hunters, pyros and bombers make the geth too overwhelming to make me bother with them.

I had a particularly bad Ghost/Geth match a month or so ago, including a memorable incident where a pair of Rocket Troopers instantly downed me at the start of a wave by firing three rockets as they spawned.

Anyway, after the match my wife looked at my face and flipped out. Turns out a capillary in my right eye had burst, and now I'm under literal doctor's orders not to play against Geth.

(I'm actually planning to play U/Ce/G until I master that challenge, then U/R/G, then U/Co/G. Hopefully by the time I finish with the Collectors, Bioware will have figured out how to take the Nintendo hard away from Geth.)

FBWGG is fine now that it takes an IQ above "brain-dead monkey" to do.
Farming is fine if it's not so damn dull, and has some chance of failure.

Krogan Battlemaster is the best class for fighting Geth. Since there aren't unit able to instant kill you a properly specced krogan vanguard with the proper equipement is nearly unstoppable against Geth. I have not tried on platinum yet but I'm sure there will be players that will confirm the class effectiveness vs Geth even at such difficulty level.

I understand wanting randomised games, but set enemies for Platinum seems a little odd. That's the only difficulty where it doesn't make a difference. (Or not an exceptional one, anyway.)
