I keep getting this error message when I try to play the game. I can see DA in my computer, I can browse around the DVD easy enough, it installed without any issues. But for some reason when it goes to authenticate it can't see the disk. Please help!

If you're going to pirate it, at least know how to crack it without asking on the official forums.

Sure, but Jedi_blues also posted this topic 20 days ago.  He's probably solved the problem since then!

Why do people keep necro'ing all of these lame topics?!

I now also have this problem. I'm almost at the end of the game and my copy is a disk bought legally, not downloaded, not pirated. I haven't played for a couple of months and now I get this error.

Same here.  I have not played in awhile and now I am getting this error.  My copy is 100% legit.

Same as always, EA has added some abysmal extra tracks to the disks somewhwre, certainly intended to increase the difficulty of making copies, but instead of doing that, it screws with the drives we use and eventually won't let them have access.

You can use the hard copy CD Key at the EA store after getting some download software there, and the CD Key will unlock the digital download of the game, which has no disk check.

Hello, if you're experiencing these issues and can't find a suitable answer provided on these forums, as per the sticky by Chris Priestly at the top of the forums: please contact the official EA game support directly. You can visit http://help.dragonage.com/ and use the options on the left side of the screen to receive assistance there.

hmm, have the same problem with my origins disk, but found it doesn't work after intsalling the awakening campaign. Instead I have to have the awakening disk in the drive for the game to start up. Have you tried that yourself?
