But in and of itself, I haven't seen anything that points to Hawke's blood being of any interest. Maybe the bad Wardens that we ran in to would have been tracking Hawke..but..idk.
And also, the Wardens didn't help at all during that invasion. It was a resounding , "kbye". Though their appearance right then is really odd.
As far as the last battle, you're gonna get your sibling back in the last battle regardless. Templar. Circle. Or Warden.
It's an interesting idea I would love to explore, but so far all I'm seeing is plausible--but not probable.
Maybe if there was something in the codex. I'll check back at some time to see what you may have added to the idea.
But Cheers! Great thread. I love these kinds of threads.

I didn't really mean they were interested because of what his father did but because they knew Hawke's blood would be needed to free Corypheus, so they wanted to be safe and make sure nobody got to Hawke for his blood (which they failed at btw).rapscallioness wrote...
But the only reason Hawke's blood was important in legacy was because it was Hawke's father that sealed Corypheus w/blood magic. So, it would take Hawke's blood to free him.

Yeah their appearance was odd in the Act 2 finale because it was too random. And in the Act 3 finale it makes more sense for you to get your sibling back if circle mage or Templar because they were directly involved in the conflict. The Warden sibling just shows up out of nowhere.
I agree that all this is only plausible but it never hurts to speculate

Throwing an army at the Darkspawn horde would have solved something? They were doomed.

There is no proof of that. For all we know Loghain could have charged in and killed 1,000 darkspawn single handedly.Conniving_Eagle wrote...

Either way you don't leave your King to die in a battle. You get your a** in there and you save hime or die trying. Even if he wouldn't have quit everything eould have worked out better and faster for the Hero of Ferelden

and sorry Eagle but this thread needs to stay on topic too. I don't want it to get locked for being off topic.

Something that came to my mind was in Act 3 wheh Bodahn says that he will stay with Hawke until arrangements are made and then at the end Carver/Bethany (if a Warden) randomly shows up. Now I know that it is obvious the you get your sibling back whether Warden/Templar/CircleMage but the Warden sibling back just seems odd and out of place. My guess is that the siblings arrival is what Bodahn was really waiting for. The sibling Warden was sent there to be Bodahn's Guard during the trip to Orlais.
Now I know that only works for Hawke twins who became Wardens but I still think its a better reason for them to pop up in the end besides just for gits and shiggles.

If you really want to sell this though you need to figure out how it can play into DA:I.
"Oh, the Inquisitor is gathering forces and engaging in a number of powerful political plays-- Wait! Who are those seemingly unimportant dwarves with them?"
