Grenades I completely in Bronze/Silver just spamming them whenever I saw an enemy, but the rest of the challenges seem like there is a tip behind them. For headshots maybe Stasis Sniper? For Grabs maybe Glacier map? And for Melee Damage Use .. well those ones just seem way too high.

Headshots use the Indra if you've got it, if not then use the Viper or Valiant. On some sort've Infiltrator, preferrably GI. Armor piercing mods so that you can shoot through thinner cover to headshot stationary enemies. Raptor is also pretty good for headshots.

headshoting is pretty easy with a QFI sniper rifle and sabotage

On silver it worked quite well, but I'm looking forward to speed up the process on gold.

For headshots I'm inclined to go for the Saber or Widow, although it's quite easy to get headshots with most shotguns.

assault rifle = win, got 90 - 110 head shot per game.
the cheap way is fire base london, from spawn point turn left and hold up in the corner next to shuttle, you can head shot ever thing that comes at you. Geth were the easiest for me, just save your grenades for the bombers and any stray hunters.

How exactly do you get this banner? Headshots, grenades, melee, and grabs challenges? I saw someone with this title and it looked really nice.
Yeah, all of those, though you only need to complete 9 of the 12 challenges to get it. You can visit N7HQ to see what it requires, or just go in-game.

Melee things, throw inferno grenades EVERYWHERE, grab people, and shoot them in the face with your shotgun.

Honestly, I would say solo a few bronze or silvers with a Kroldier with maxed fortification for dr and incendiary grenades spec'd for damage. Melee everything you can, drop grenades on spawns and armored targets, and grab whenever possible. Also, take something fast firing or a wide-spread shotgun for headshots, it's actually easier to get headshots with a Piranha than a lot of guns, especially if you're running a melee game.
Good point. I'm half way through level 3 headshots using harrier and wraith.
Edit: iPad ;(

thaks. i just looked at the requirements, though, and i'm shocked at how high they are! This is definitely not something I'll be getting in the coming days, that's for sure!

I have some tips:
Do all headshots and grenade damage. A strong precision weapon such as the Paladin, Saber, Black Widow or Crusader will do. Use the Demolisher for grenade damage.
Now for the tedious parts:
I loaded up Firebase Ghost with Krogan Vanguard with Cerberus Bronze. I would coerce enemies to follow me, then as soon as they begin the melee animation I would jump over the barricade, take cover and grab them. 12 grabs per wave 1 takes around 3 to 5 minutes depending on how lucky you are. Grabs also count towards melee damage.
In the end I got 2 grab challenges and 1 melee challenge.

For the grab, select dagger + reapers. From the spawn spot, go down the ramp, walk stright then up the next ramp and trun left to the ammo box. If you stand with your back facing the ammo box, you can see a half cover to your right. Take cover there. All the husks will go to you and you can simply grab them while they line up. If you take too long, they will go around the cover. Also be careful of cannibal grenades and marauders. As you are invulnerable when grabbing, if you can time it well, you can ignore a grenade exploding. Don't kill the cannibals and marauders so the entire wave budget goes to husks.
I did that on gold as i was going 2 weapon challenges together with the combat challenge but the grab challenge is probably more efficiently done on silver.
For easy headshots, take cerberus, find a corner to stand and shoot them in the head as they round the corner with something strong and auto, such as a harrier. At that range its easy to hit even if your first shot doesn't hit right because its an auto you can simply walk fire to the head.
For the grenade challenge, i used infernos on UUG so the points can be maxed out as soon as possible with the higher points from random map and random faction. If you get lucky and its hydra, rio, etc, just collect grenades and throw while running around in circles. Goddess is best for that but it didn't show up on my UUG run.
Melee damage went with krogan with the cheap 2 kills rage and maxed out melee on UUG. No equipment, just melee until you get killed.
One of the important things to remember for these challenges is that extraction is not needed, so if you die on wave 2, it doesn't matter. The points you got are still there, just repeat doing it until you cannot stand it.

For the counter grabs play Bronze Giant Cerberus with one of the new Turians and extra grenade or stronghold gear.
It's pretty simple, take cover behind one of the two barricades in middle, run and grab a soldier after they take cover on the opposite barricade, turn around and do it again.
-You don't take damage when grabbing, so your shields will regen enough for you to take hide or pop a stim.
-When in cover, bait enemies by letting them get behind you, they will run out and try to melee, so jump over, turn around and grab them.
-If enemies leave the area, fall back a little and they will run towards the barricades for cover.
-Phantoms and the Goon Squad come out around wave 5-6 and really slow things down, so dying and restarting is an option.
Started doing this inbetween games last night and only have 12 more grabs to go.

I'm also working on Blood Pack mastery, and the one thing Krogans, Batarians and Vorcha all have in common is excellent melee skills, so I'm making decent progress there as well.
I spec out of grenades on several classes, but I have them on Krogan Sentinel and Soldier, so when I start working on waves with those characters for Blood Pack, I should be able to finish the grenade challenges as well.
Basically, I try to find a group of challenges that complement each other well enough that I can work on them at the same time. To be honest though, I'd probably already have a banner by now if I worked on Mathemagician instead. Seems to be the banner I've seen the most often in lobbies. I just REALLY like the Dog of War and Monster banners...
