I do believe I finished my melee points before anything else in combat mastery. I love CQC characters.

N7 Shadow/Slayer are beasts for melee damage, I find the Shadow is a bit better for getting a bunch of melee kills though. (Could be because I'm not that good with my Slayer...yet)

Your grenade leveling style is fine. Use stasis plus a black widow (or similar) with phasic rounds for headshots. I have 2 methods for melee points 1st being spamming omni bow on the talon mercenary. The second method i use is with the TGI. Get behind cover when a enemy is near and when they are near another cover spot i overload and run in to grab them before they recover. Alternatively raise cloak so they stop and use the confusion to grab them.

I get like 20 grabs on gold on Firebase Reactor. I usually use the alternative banners. I like the one with Grunt on it.

Did a lot of the other maps, but Dagger (hazard dagger for stimpackers) is still the most brainless way to get grabs. Literally do nothing but sit there and wait for enemies to come over. Either stimpacks or DR/fitness guys will suck up any grenade damage.

For grabs, I did a whole bunch by doing solo games on Giant vs Geth (whatever level you are comfortable with soloing normally). Go to the little corridor (by the ladder down from the control room) and take cover by the barricade (either side). Be prepared to switch sides if they start coming up behind you (geth scanner/hunter mode can be useful here). They will come up to the barrier to be grabbed one by one, making it very easy to rack up the grabs. You just need to be a class that can take care of things like bombers and primes fairly well though, and something to stagger or quickly kill pyros can be helpful.
