I think i got ripped. It will read the cd marked dvd. It's the one labeled shadow of amn. But one in it comes up it says throne of bral or whatever and it wont install because i dont have the shadow of amn data installed. When i put in the cd marked cdrom and with throne of bral at the top the pc wont even read it. I guess that's what I get for ordering from amazon used.

Gotta be careful with those 'used' orders. I've had 100% success with Amazon over the course of several years, but I also take my time and look around first. Read carefully too. If you don't feel good about it, don't buy it.
I got the 4-in-1 Boxset (PC DVD) and it works great. Has each game and expansion on separate DVDs (four in all; I like 'em separate).

I was thinking about buying a 4 in 1 for many purposes, but for now, I stick with my... 11 discs

Reminds me of when games came on several 3-1/2 inch 'floppy' discs. Now I have Blu-ray in my PC, but alas games on Blu-ray are for PS3. At least movies are stunning.
On topic, the 4-in-1 box set doesn't suffer some of the problems of the Baldur's Gate Original Saga collection (BG1 only), which among other things had duplicated music files so you only got to hear half the original game's music. The fix for that is on the archived Dudleyville BG/2 site, if anybody happens to need them.
