On Dragoons; was probably carrying this one match, and I got downed by a Centurion grenade while two Dragoons rushed me. I usually hold off on the gels until I'm either going to be stomped or the counter runs down, but the Dragoons have such a fast animation for everything that I was stomped before I even registered that it was a possibility. Match failed, because the two remaining players couldn't handle all of the firepower being focused on them. It's just another thing to adapt to, but their curbstomp is definitely much more rapid and less avoidable, so that's a thing.

Mostly, slayin, I agree, but considering that a large portion of the playerbase struggles with these enemies, I doubt they need a buff. Buffs and nerfs shouldn't be based only on the good players. If a lot of folks have trouble with them compared to other enemy types, then that's the closest thing we have to an objective measure of their strength. Until players get better at dealing with Dragoons, they're fine as is. Most folks have always struggled with Reapers, and they were initially the most powerful faction, so I don't know what to say about that..

My only problem with Dragoons is their speed. Other than that they really are actually easy to manage....assuming you don't get ninja snuck up on by 4 of them with 2 phantoms following. Actually, the only time I know when they are behind me is when I hear the phantom who's farther away than them lol. I agree on the Reapers needing a buff though.

thats why you can perform a "tactical retreat" no shame in running in ME3 MP

Oh I try to retreat....but when someone's in front of me and behind me I end up getting stuck on them.  :whistle: That sounded wrong.  Anyways, I still think they could stand to be just a tad bit slower.

Dragoons are just fine IMO. Reapers could use a slight buff, but I don't want them to turn into Geth 2.0.

Normally disagree with you but this time I actually agree. Dragoons aren't remotely hard except when caught unaware, when you know they're there it's a simple dodge and destroy. They need a revamp IMO as they don't feel like cerb units at all, seem far too stupid of a unit.

Reapers buff also do agree on but not sure how exactly it could be done without adding cheapness honestly.

I was kind of disappointed that they didn't have barriers.

I would like dragoons to be harder to kill, but they still do their job extremely well.

the concept of MP is simple.
start with starter equipment on bronze. earn credits, hone your skills unlock better stuff move up to silver and repeat.

the issue people are having is they turned it into a how quick can i unlock stuff game and now are mad that they actually have to play it instead of having an easy win button.

If you go into a gold match with a harrrier you can rape things. If your best pistol is a predator X you shouldn't be playing gold.

geth are cheap. reapers odn't need that. maybe a little more health to lower units and lower the amount of times canibals and maurders buff up becuase it leaves them helpless

I think dragoons are fine where they are, for the most part. They might not be particularly dangerous, but they accomplish what Cerberus has always had trouble with: getting players out of their defensive posture. As is, I'd say they are more dangerous than brutes, for example.

Reapers need a buff pretty badly. Right now the most dangerous thing they have going for them is the husks. If a new unit isn't possible, I'd give the Ravagers an additional shot or shorten their targeting delay. Make brutes capable of sync killing without first meleeing. I think marauders are pretty good as is, except perhaps shorten the length of their buff time or increase its range.

EDIT:  I see you too perceive their buff patterns as a problem.  It should be an asset, not a liability

That's not exactly constructive.  Also, I don't consider myself elitist.  Right now, reapers are easier than the other three factions by a fair margin, and I think the various factions should be in a rough sort of parity, or do you prefer uneven difficulty?

It sounds like someone isn't going to be happy until either 98% of the community quits playing the game due to frustration or they all move to bronze since it will be the only difficulty an average player will be able to extract from.

Reapers are fine. Dragoons should be balanced. first of all, it makes no sense that a heavily armored unit should be the fastest infantry in the game. If they keep armor, then they need a massive movement speed reduction. If they keep their shields, then they need health and shields like the other Cerberus units (honestly, don't understand the armor, the Phoenix characters don't have it, why should they?). Finally, their weapon damage, melee attack rate and stagger rate needs to be decreased as well.

not to sound like a jerk but an "average" player as you call it should be playing silver

beginner = bronze
average = silver
good player = gold
great player = platinum

that what it is there for. If the credits were the same for all 4 difficulties people would play the one that suits them best. instead all teh young gamers want an easy win unlock eveyrhting button. and complain when they don't get it.

Brutes need a speed upgrade.

Ravagers could use a 4th or 5th shot in their volley.

That's all I'd change... Banshees are fine, the fulfill their role well (line breakers).

Dragoons... more data is needed before I make an opinion. They seem fine right now... they are only really tough when grouped with a few Phantoms.

Reapers are fine as they are. They can now stomp you. And Banshees can grab you whenever they want, just because they can't pull you anymore doesn't mean anything. They can spawn behind you and pick you up without doing ANYTHING.

Dragoons? They're faster than a Nemesis, stun resistant, they can spam smash, melee and that charge faster than you can spam Conc. Shot, and they travel in packs.
Oh, and they can snipe you from across Dagger with their Hornets...I think they're tough enough thanks.

They are already powerfull and fast as hell. Also they cost a little (wave budget) and nearly always come in pair. ALSO they can shoot Hornet while smashing!

You completely misunderstood my point. I said he won't be happy until the average gamer either stops playing the game or has to play bronze. Meaning if they keep buffing enemies and making this game harder. It's going to alienate 98% of the people who play this game. The people who can solo platinum with their hands tied behind their backs are the extreme minority. But yet these are the jerks who keep asking for enemy buffs.

I just hate it when I'm playing a solo game against Cerberus and I get a hack objective. You have to leave the area every minute and a half because a Dragoon comes up from behind an nearly kills you... They're not difficult to take down, it's just stupid that they spawn nonstop in some waves...
