Must be an Xbox problem. Personally, I think it was a good idea because it encourages people to try harder and improve themselves. Also got me back into playing the game.Zeromarro4 wrote...
It simply leads to ego preening and elitism "oh he has a low challenge completion kick him" meanwhile "he" ended up carrying the team as a volus.

I specifically went for Mathemagician and Machnist just because they represent me (sort of) as a Mass Effect Player. I've been a true blue, genuine, bonafide engineer since the moment I saw the character creation screen at the start of Mass Effect. Otherwise, I really don't care....just like me.

it causes people to go for the challenges in particular rather than passively pick them up as the person in question plays.

Certain types of players will find any excuse to kick. I would like to see more rewards/challenges for teamplay, though. I'm not sure how it would work or how the game would keep track of them, but there must be some way to reward players for playing well as a team.
Like giving scoreboard points to the Volus who keeps the rest of the team alive, or duos who are good at priming/detonating combos, etc.
