Exactly... if you have 10 challenge points and N7 6,000+ I can tell you are a camper.
If you have N7 120 and 1,500 challenge points, you are pretty good.

This wouldn't have happened without the challenge system.

i really loved the challenge stuff

It simply leads to ego preening and elitism "oh he has a low challenge completion kick him" meanwhile "he" ended up carrying the team as a volus.
it causes people to go for the challenges in particular rather than passively pick them up as the person in question plays.
bull****.
ive never been kicked because of low challenge ....................................................
OP, quit bull****tin. Be more positive and enjoy the Challenge System

Still want to try Katana, Eviscerator and some crazy Turian headshot build with Shuriken
I just did the Shuriken challenge with my Ghost. I was suprised to see that the Shuriken X was actually much better than I thought it was. Now I'm not entierly shure why people say the Hornet is good. Shuriken X was far more effective than my Hornet VIII. I'm really not liking the Hornet much.
Personally I like the challenge system. I'm having a lot of fun using weapons that I haven't picked up for a long time. I'm looking forward to getting my SMG Mastery. Not quite sure why I picked that to work on first. I never was a fan of any of the SMGs except the Hurricane.

And if you have N7 200 and 15 challenge points, then the person could be a noob, or they could be somebody that doesn't like to promote, and really deversifies in their playstyles. Before yesterday, i was playing as all different races all the time, so I didn't unlock any challenges. Had a challenge level of about 15. Some idiot tried to kick me for that. (My N7 by the way is 350, because I hate promoting. Now that they fixed the assigning a power point, I might start doing it)
Today I have like 300 because I'm almost done with the tech mastery. But still, that's because I'm committed to getting it. For someone that never plays as the same races, they could hardly make any progress in their challenges.

I mind the goofballs who forget that they have objectives to complete, waves to clear, and goes about without thoughts of teamwork, all to rack up points for their challenges. Teamwork before Challenge, chummers.

You do know you get some challenges just by playing and earning points right?...

Killing an enemy that has 30% health/armor left gives MORE points than taking away the first 70%. So effectively, players focussing on killing primed targets will gain points faster, players who prime or weaken their targets and then see someone else take the kill will gain their points slower.
And I'm not the first to notice, since I ran into a lot more people headshotting only the warped enemies of the pack than ever before. So additional points for actually killing the target should be drastically lowered, or even removed, and only dealing damage to their health/armor should give points, and be distributed according to actual damage dealt.
Otherwise, this whole killstealing thing will get out of hand soon, and you won't find a single biotic or tech player anymore.
Before, killstealing was annoying, but it didn't benefit anyone, since every squadmember would get the same experience bonus regardless of endscore. So only the occasional idiot did that. Annoying, but no problem. But now, killstealing actually gives a benefit, so it will become more and more problematic.

I absolutely love the new challenge system.
This game needed something to give it a sense of progression/goal to work toward. Once your manifest is maxed, there's nothing left....now there is. Alot of the banners look really cool too.
I fully agree with you.
If it wasn't for the new challenge system, I don't think I(or majority maybe) would ever use any weapons below URs.
Thumbs up to the BW.

but: killstealing? in a co-op game? was it supposed to be an issue? now with these challanges, probably it is...

The Challenge system is great and adds some more replayability to the MP. I like completing them and I'm sure plenty of other gamers feel the same way.
